You're using the wrong legs for those steps. The back legs invert the front legs when a four legged creature walks. So if the front left leg takes a step, the right back leg would follow, and so on with every step.
this week i did this, i get a tablet 2 months ago and start doing stketch on it and this is my second "srs work",
what you think /ic/
>>2894630
Very good m8. What tablet are you using?

Does anyone have experience in teaching children how to draw? I'm going to have to teach a 9 year old soon, and i'm not sure how to start. The main issue is that i don't want to bore him. I was thinking about teaching him simple 3D froms by drawing cartoon characters with him, but i'm unsure.
Any advice?
beat them.
don't listen to the cunt
I guess it's important to let him feel the joy of painting at this young of an age.
So don't force any fundies onto him and let him express himself however he likes so he would learn to have fun with drawing.
Then, if he enjoys it enough he can always decide at a later age to get serious about it.
How do you sit when you draw?
>>2893462
i lay in bed usually with a a couple of large pillows behind me, like an old person at the hospital
>>2893474
Same, im fucking lazy
Hunched over like an idiot. I don't draw for more than an hour at a time.
OMG, it's.. it's... A FUCKING SHIT
Alright? ty

using the mouse btw
So if anyone would like to practice their art skills, I have a favor. Would someone draw me a good picture of Eve, naked, under the tree of knowledge of good and evil, holding the apple in one hand, upright in an almost victorious pose, and stepping upon the head of the snake with its 4 limbs, its an esoteric image.
pic unrelated.

What's your budget?
I might can't post it before the thread sages, but I'll do your image for free because it's an interest of mine.

this is BOXMAN
If you are a /beg/inner in art, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice.
We should not have to make new threads or post in the drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Better than anything i could do.
Hey /ic/ folk
I have terrible posture, which is real pain because I also have (light) scoliosis.
I know the drill, keep your back straight and don't sit with your hips, but it's really hard to keep a straight posture while drawing.
I mean when I paint in a easel it's fine because I do it standing up (and I like it better that way), but when I'm drawing in paper on a table it's really bad. It's even worse when I'm using my tablet.
Any tips or stories about that?
I don't know if you can with your scoliosis problem, but I would recommend lifting some weights or swimming, it improved my postured a lot.
>>2893074
weights? how can i use them to improve my posture?
it's over, human artists are finished

Oh my, how terrifying.

Any good exercice for anatomy?? (beginner)
>>2880275
Buy several anatomy books. Copy out every image in them and read all the text. Repeat as necessary.
If you're a complete beginner you don't start with anatomy.
You start with gesture, then construction. Move into anatomy later. And to answer your question directly, use one of the books, like pic related.

Its like when i draw the head i can't do the body and the body can't draw head
And i am shitty at symetry and to draw the other eye i need to pratice

Any art related youtube channels? Can be anything
Is it?
>>2891129
It's a total pain. Ink is BETTER. Watercolour is a long slog coming from using oil.
>>2891132I don't fuck with oil though, too slow
>>2891136
Watercolour is very delicate, oil, slap it on you're done. Unless you're mad. Watercolour, get out the diddy brushes
Going to an art museum date tmr. Know nothing about art. How do I impress her? How do I appreciate art?
>>2894844
Look up their collection online and read the wiki articles on the artists or analysis of the works
>>2894844
Just mutter "Loomis" while twiddling your thumbs
>>2894844
if she likes art, let her lead the conversation & ask lots of questions about what she likes etc. don't try to cram last minute to pretend you know what you're talking about.
Charming layman > pretending & failing to know what's going on
if she doesn't like art, you fucked up by going on an art museum date, and just make jokes about the art
