Hi Bill, please teach me how to draw hot waifu moe babes. Thank you
you newfags do realise this is an ancient meme?
How do I approach drawing so it's not a chore and I can get good enough to work for money

As a large nosed individual, when I pay my fee to participate in a 3 hour figure drawing session I can't bring myself to leave until the 3 hours are up.
>>2901162
Hack yourself
Get good at doing part of it, and then get really good at borrowing money from others and using it to pay people to do the rest...allowing you to pump out finished pieces really fast.
I want to re-draw this shit.
Here's page 2. (It's in spanish you don't need to read it anyways)

Your anatomy needs work. That bottom left panel is really cluttering things and instead you should just have the envelope in the fourth panel.
But really her jaw is dislocated and her fingers are all squished. Nice hair/enviros

Thanks for critique anon!
Dumb question. I just painted this with oils and I want to give it as a gift to a friend but it's still wet. What would happen if I left it over night in a brisker? Would the paint dry quicker or am I a fucking idiot...
My brisker has a constant temperature of 115 degrees fahrenheit
So,I made this today. How dose it look?
here's an slightly modified version
Trash.
Exactly
Are there any resources on how to make and design appealing and stylized cartoons for animated features and the like? I really want to know how to jump into that field.
Cartoons as in, characters, but not for concept/illustration. More like for animation- I'm sure a visual library for example would very much help, but I'm wondering what to practice that's directly in making the character designs fit in with their worlds.
These two aren't the best references, since it's still putting a big focus on illustration, but the vibe of the "designs" are there.
For instance, the stylized hair in the second character is something I wouldn't have thought about or seen in life references.

What anatomy?
Is it wrong to use references when you're going to sell/advertise your digital paintings/etc. Such as these kinds of pictures? If I want to do this in the future, will it be a bad habit?
>creating a thread just to ask a fucking question
Not gonna fucking make it.

Is that tree trying to sneak up on her or something?
Did anyone have nightmare disorder? How did you handle it?
I really can't work or do anything because of it, I feel very tired and there's nothing really that helped me so far. Even when I don't have nightmares, I still have dreams that make my brain tense, they are very realistic and I always wake up tired. Nightmares are even worse than that because they are super tense, to the point I feel mental pain in a dream I am.
What can I do? I don't want to stop drawing because of this shit.
h.r gieger drew his frequent nightmares. thats what made his images so scary. he said that helped him.
>>2900797
I envisioned myself within the future and all the amazing things that happen. Then I get back to drawing to make sure it happens regardless of whatever haunts me at the moment. Pushing through and sometimes exercising helps clear the mind as well as wake me up.
>>2900797
Yeah, had a similar situation as a kid, even though I wasn't really drawing then. Had a bad case of scarlet fever, like almost died, and kind of left me- fucked in the head. Had nightmares daily until I was nearly 8 years old. 2-8.
I guess it made me a little more introverted, but anywho, I guess I just got over it with time. My advise regarding your work, use it as an inspiration I guess. Power through it I guess.
I've wanted to make webcomic on Tumblr and/or animated series on Youtube, and I want to spitball it on /ic/ and share some rough sketch I have in my Sketchbook
Pic related because it is a Cyber Fantasy

Is that a female toy soldier in the background?
I was given an Intuos pro M tablet, and the pressure sensitivity doesn't feel comfortable (I played around with various settings and treshold too).
It does register very light touch, but to reach 100% pressure I have to press quite hard.
I'm used to drawing with pencils and fineliners, maybe that's why it feels so wrong, idk.
What is the normal pressure range it is supposed to work in (force)? I know it registers as little as 1g but I can't find any info how hard are you supposed to press to reach higher pressure levels.
>>2900651
Have you tried changing the firmness level or using the custom pressure level feature?
>>2900829
Yeah it helps somewhat but still feels suboptimal.

1) do you exist ?
2) what is your experience with being a female artist? (not advantageous, N/A or advantageous)
3) How do breasts affect your art, do they push on the table or get in the way?
4) aside from painting with period blood, which is just plain gross, do you draw on your period? is it different?
5) if the best ever male artist went up against the best ever female artist, would it be an even match? where would the male excel? female?
6) Do you see art as a boyish or girly hobby?
7) How do feel about dating a male artist? what would we need to draw for you, to get your pants off?
8) how do you feel about CREEPERS specifically in art, where is the line for you between casually being observed and just full on rapey vibes?
9) have you every dyed your hair an odd color, and if so, was it your favorite color?
10) How do you feel about feminism and art? Is there a female GIT GUD and a male GIT GUD ?
11) who is you favorite artist? If not female, who is your favorite female artist?
12) Lastly, tell us something about being female artist that we would never know otherwise aka a fun fact.

You seem to have spent a long time thinking about this, so here you go.
1. yes
2. I dont have much on the internet, and I keep it as a hobby at this point, but I dont think I've seen a difference.
3. what? no? how big do you think breasts are?
4. I had never thought about it so I guess most of the time you carry on like usually but obviously you take a brake if youre feeling really bad.
5. I have no idea, I've never considered there to be any significant differences between being a female or male artist, but once you get to the best artists in the world I dont think there'd be just one supreme art champion.
6. I dont see it as either, I've honestly never thought about it that much, but I guess I've see more girls doing anime type things and more guys doing more traditional painting and the like.
7. Anything half ok, because Ive met so few people in real life who have any real interest in art or drawing.
8. I'm not cool enough for any stalkers, or I just dont have much of an internet presence.
9. No, how does anyone pick a favorite colour, dying it would mess up all the natural highlights and stuff, I dont think I could stand it.
10. I dont even know what this would mean, I have never thought about men and women in art as such a separate thing.
11. Just one favorite is hard, so Heinrich Kley or Toulouse Lautrec. I have favorite artists, why would I have a favorite female artist? Most of the stuff I like is older, and there weren't that many old timey female artists.
12.My body is a good reference, men dont understand it in there drawings and you can tell.

Can anyone give me any tips on painting in acrylics on canvas? Fairly new but absolutely would love to towards being able to portray what I want through it. Meaning sort of best ways to mix, layer, construct etc. tnx /ic/

>tips on painting in acrylics on canvas
Don't. Go for gouache (paper, your pic) or oil. Acrylic is for people who can't deal with the hassle of oil. The downside is it will never, ever look good, especially in person. Acrylic always looks like plastic-y shit.
Learn how to use mediums with acrylics. Some can thin the paints down or add extra gloss and oil to it to make it stay wet longer.
Different artists have different processes and styles while using acrylics, it's great for certain styles but not so much with others.
My main tip is to paint in a lot of layers and find find your process. Tone the canvas, underpainting with washes and toned values, form layer, lighting layer, detail layer, and keep building it up to the finished version.
You can always paint over your mistakes so don't be lazy, learn to correct yourself when you see an error, that's the best way to improve.
So yah, just keep experimenting until you find a process that works for you because everyones process is different. If there's a professional painter that works with acrylics that you really enjoy, learn their process, or at least take away from it.
>>2901310
Not actually true. Acrylic can look as good as oil if you know how to use it.
