Some of the art I did years ago, just wanted to share with you. These were to be painted on huge canvases, really big ones, so the viewer could ''dive'' into their atmo.

Ur wayyyyy better than me but the clavicle looks weird and so does the perspective of the worm thing. And the edges on the eyes seem too hard. Also there are dedicated threads for this kind of post.
And you should probably find a way to separate your self esteem from any (possibly valid) criticism.
And u should start exercising regularly
>>2937739
As a guy above me said, worm-thing looks disjointed and more like an afterthought to make profile more interesting. Looks like act of desparation.
Also without it your other mistakes are more glaring like everything below chin, I have issues with the neck in relation to shoulders.
I think you are subconciously aware of all that, but despair overcame you and you had/have the strony desire to rush to the end.
Do not despair. Take a break. Be patient. There's good stuff here.
How long does it take to git gud if you draw everyday?
5 minutes
50 years
Absolutely depends on how you study.
Who else dreams of getting gud and moving to japan to continue their drawing career?

This thread is meant for artists who might want to try to make anime works in-between their studies. It is strongly recommended that you use this thread in conjunction with learning the elements and fundamentals of art. You can also discuss the visual elements of various professional artists as well if you keep it relatively articulate and civil.
Submit your drawings, receive feedback or critique others! Share your knowledge and remember to thank those who've critiqued or red-lined your drawings. Most importantly, have fun!

Anyone know these?
1-2$ cheap touch pens for tablet or smartphone
no pressure nor quality, but will do better than the finger, anyone have expirience with them or something?
thx senpaitachi
>>2934034
i actually bought this exact one at walmart for 8$. it worked well until the bottom started caving in. It's roughly 2x better than your hand and works on all phone. Is it worth it? For the amount of drawing i put in, definitely. But i dont draw on phone anymore cant be bothered, id recommend a finer tip if possible.
PS: dont play with the side holder, itll snap. I know its fun. what isnt fun is the snap.
>>2934034
You'd be better off with pencil and paper.
Or, if you really have to do digital for whatever reason, get a fine tip stylus like the adonit jot pro or something. Don't ever get a rubber tip stylus, you can never see where you're drawing with those, and it's really not much better than your finger. Fine point ones are better and well worth the extra money.
Bask In My Glory, For Ghost Anakin His Arisen
is that pecka?
Good thread
So i've been drawing for a while and i'm thinking starting painting. I hear that is better to do values for a while like 6 months to a year before jumping into coloring because it makes the process easier. I've also heard that it's better to jump straight into color and do both simultaneously, what are your thoughts /ic/ ?
>>2940008
Just fucking paint nigga, like, just fucking paint.
>>2940093
Fucking why, just go paint nigga.
Sup fags, new to drawing
Is there anything like duolingo but for learning to draw? I know there's billions of metric fucktons of resources out there on the internet for learning to draw but I want something that hammers in progress that I can see with bars and shit.
>>2939704
You can use habitica and set your own "bars and shit" like an rpg.
stealing this idea
im gonna be rich
Hey guys, its nosebro here. I know i said i would post with drawings from now on but i changed my mind.
Its time for a serious thread. Who's the best artist who posts on /ic/ and why?
Honestly, I think Firez is the best artist who posts here. Despite all the hate that he gets, he's been making enormous progress over the years. At this stage, he's easily comparable to professional artists like sycra and sinix.
Starting at the age of 28 makes and even bigger inspiration because right now i'm 42 and I just started out but I think that if I keep going i'll be able to reach his level someday.
Attached my most recent work. I've been drawing seriously for about a year now
>>2939310
If you think Firez is good then your taste is shit, and good taste is fundamental to making it. Give up.
If you are a /beg/inner in art, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

hey /ic/ how do you like my graffiti? :)

desu i don't like it because it has no style or flow at all but whatever just go on
i don't do walls atm but i sketch everyday to improve myself but i still suck.
pic related was sketched today and (besides this shitty R) as you can see, i'm a total noob at fill-ins. can anyone help me out and got some tipps&tricks for fill-ins?
>>2937099
on the other hand the style i'm working on looks fine in black/white but it still looks really empty. how can i fill it without actually filling it?
>>2936510
It shouldn't have taken you 20 minutes to that...
That's a five minute job.
Anons, help me come up with a background done in pencil that wont subtract from the detail of the main piece...

Wow, thanks. That is a great idea actually...
Should the wall be a square like that or should the wall slope?
>>2940172
np. It should be a square- esque with the edges being rocky/jagged.
