Who is this boner condoner?
If you are a /beg/inner in art, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

There's a new (and cleaner) sticky in town! You can see it at:

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Hello /ic/, I've been following what art schools get thrown around a lot and CGMA comes up quite a bit. Is it worth it? I plan on taking dynamic 1 and 2 over the next two terms and I was curious as to what you guys think.
Is schoolism better? I hear the critique is shit over there.
They're both the same thing.
>>2945326
dynamic 1 & 2 are on cgpeers

Anyone know how good http://www.vanas.ca/ is? Thinking bout their concept art diploma. Help me decide my future /ic/!
>in canada
>animation school
Looks good.
Online school tho. Have to go into debt via loans to do it too. Still good?
Everyone has debt. It's a norm as long as you don't dig yourself into too deep of debt. Still good.
What are the perks of working as a concept artist, illustrator or just artist in general besides being paid for drawing?
>pic unrel
None. It's just an another job.

>Feng lied
You get to brag about it on the internet.
90% of people don't care, most of /ic/ won't believe you, and the rest will think you don't deserve it and get bitterly indignant. You can drink those tears and become stronger.
Think of a good looking penis, and a good looking vagina. Speaking objectively as best you can - Which is more beautiful, the Penis or the Vagina?

bepis ib bagina x'-dDdDDd
They're both quite complex and fascinating organs, but more of the penises anatomy actually shows outside the body, so I'd say it's the more interesting one to draw and study. (no homo)

What are some good practices for doing character design?
When designing a character, what is the best workflow? Do you think much deeper about the character's character or is it just pure visual?
>>2943120
What is the best source of inspiration and ideas?
How do you problem solve?
How much research do you actually need eg the names of different armor pieces and their purpose? And then from that create something nobody has ever seen before but still looks like it somehow makes sense ?
How do you make it look as cool (or any other goal like cute scary etc) as possible?
Skillful huntsman

Anyway, to be precise, I'm looking for an artist that's internationally accepted for his skill, is incredibly knowledgeable and confident in his abilities, but also humble and willing to keep learning.

The left is day 2.
The right is day 198.
I have been drawing for almost 200 days now.
I think I have decline instead of improve.
I can't even copy from pictures now. I used to be able to use ballpoint pen and copy. But now I simply can't. I just keep fucking up. :(
What when wrong? Should I kms?
These are of the same quality.
spend more time on each drawing?
>>2944535
no, if you look closely, the 2nd day have likeness. the 198 day, is so far from what I was trying to copy, I stop trying.
I started doing photo manipulation and I'd like some feedback.

How difficult is it o make a living off of art without working in the actual industry or doing porn?
>>2944993
Depends, there are many other options, none nearly as consistent, like patreon, sfw comissions, small freelance gigs for icons, portaits, etc.
No good reason not to aim for industry quality tho.
>>2944996
It seems like the only way to have total creative freedom are to either make porn, get lucky with a popular comic, or get to god tier so people are buying your sketchbooks a lot.
