Interested in feedback. I will post a few and if people are interested I will share more.

You need to add line weight for it to look more interesting
Crit this - cruelly.
>>2949607
Shapes could use work. Remember the basics, do contour studies and understand round forms.

sorry for not being cruel, ill try and make sure to call you a faggot next time. Also maybe ease off the charcoal a bit.
Hey guys,
This weekend I'm looking to improve the /beg/ sticky.
I am opening another round of input/help. If you have any comments or even would like to directly contribute. Feel free to drop into the discord i've created (for this occasion specifically, only meant for discussion of sticky) here: https://discord.gg/Xpdajga or post a reply
and of course to read the sticky here:
https://docs.google.com/document/d/1uwaXKU7ev6Tw_or__o8ARpUb6r2rCZYJGqwSFV9AD98/edit#
As a closing note, I've written what I personally think the sticky should strive to be in the comments of the sticky.
Anyway, Thank you very much for helping me.
Sincerely,
Nose

I would like to stretch that everything helps. Everyone who participates gets to be put in the credits.
>>2949484
What is the art level of the people writing this?
>>2949484
as a beginner, i'd rather avoid wasting my time reading a 50+ pages document made by a literally who, instead of any of the commonly recommended books that are a simple google search away.
There's people who actually learned how to draw anime girls using the sticky?
>>2947324
beginner1 is doing just that but he still sucks for now
>>2947326
does he have a blog or do you have some examples of his work?
>>2947324
Stop being lazy and learn how to draw, anime is just cartoons, and any cartoonist will know how to draw realistic anatomy.
It's gotta be Zdzislaw Beksinski for me. If you don't know him do yourself a favor and look him up.

>>2947307
dumping some more beksinski
>>2947307
Can you fuck off with these threads already? I swear there is a new Beksinski thread every week trying to promote him as this obscure artist with godlike skills. We know who he is, he's not anywhere near GOAT, people who love his work are edgelords who aren't artists, and please go away.
>>2947307
How could anyone not know him with all the newfags spamming him all the time?
reference thread that is also a filename thread
filename optional
>draw the thumb on the wrong side of the hand
>just fucking cover it up with some hair
what a master
>>2949374
You are retarded.
The thumb is not on the wrong side.
>>2949374
I think you might have something wrong with your thumbs
When im at Graphic Design class i like to draw my artworks like Araki does (part 1,2,3 AND 4)
and sometimes i dont even get right the anatomy and that stuff, can u guys help me <:3?
>>2948546
I'm pretty familiar with drawing JoJo style, I've spent a lot of time studying it so I feel that I do it pretty well, but once I tries realistic anatomy I couldn't do it as smooth as I did with JoJo style... Not sure what's the problem but they are the same but yet different things

For parts 1-4, that would be robust, strong lines and sort of a squished hexagon for eyes, along with those eyelines and diagonal, curved crosshatching on many things. As far as anatomy is concerned just draw a framework first, use reference ofc
So one of my biggest pet peeves when when d/ic/ks post improvement memes of artists who show little or no improvement in order to feel better about their own slow improvement.
Well let me tell you something you pathetic fucks, not everybody is grinding fundamentals 6 hours a day in order to draw waifus. It doesn't make in any way superior to artists who improve slow because chances are they have a fucking life. Maybe they are in medical school? Maybe they have an awesome fucking social life unlike you neet fucks and only draw once in every blue moon. Maybe they simply don't give a shit?
TLDR: Quit posting shitty improvement memes of artists who barely draw in order to feel better about the fact that you're practicing hardcore and still making little gains you talentless cucks
Why did you feel the need to make your own thread to whine? Just sage and bitch in the offending thread if you really need to moan about it, then hide it you fucking crybaby.
>>2947531
Because I'm trying to send a message across you dipshit. At least I don't cry about shitty improvement.
Did someone tell you were shit anon? Just work harder.
how is newgrounds as an online platform for art?

decent about a decade ago,
A little bit about me. I'm 19 years old, thinking about going to art school. Anyway, I've been practicing relentlessly for the past 3 years trying to reach kjg level. Here are my sketches. Tell me on a scale of 1-10 how close I am
And yes, the are all from imagination

Whaddup /ic/, just found about the site ffffound.com. It will close on 8th may and holds a fuckton of images, photographs and design shenanigans which are pretty much exclusive to the site and will go down with it. I just went through a few pages and found a lot of interesting inspo and reference. It's like a goldmine. I advise you the save the shit outta this site and post the best here. A lot of the source links for the images are dead but you can still get them from the site, so take that opportunity before it's too late.
I will contribute a bit of what I saved and might be interesting from an artist's standpoint.

Hey thank you!
What does /ic/ think of abstract art? Is it a lazy way to mask no talent or is there merit in arranging structures?

>>2949424
so good, blog?
>>2949424
How are you so good?
>>2949444
fine..I guess..
These literally who types who hard sell themselves really rubs me the wrong way.
"Art Instructor - Illustrator - Concept Artist - Writer" yet barely any finished work. Can't see anything about writing either so it just comes off as pretentious.
But I won't argue against results. Do you think it's a good idea to market yourself agressively like this? She's a chick with a cute voice so I guess that works in her favour too.
>>2949074
Are you even part of her tutoring or are you just another outsider shitposter?
>But I won't argue against results. Do you think it's a good idea to market yourself agressively like this?
If you have something to show for it, absolutely.
>>2949089
I don't think she has any business teaching at her level, so no.
