or are 3d comics pleb tier?
<--not 3d as in wearing bespectacled colored rosy glasses but doing art in maya or c4d and render that shit in a comic format
No, because it will never look good. The only such comics in the mainstream are those shitty fucking smut strips in the back of the British tabloids
I have a few images with a background color that I want to change. (Pic related)
However, the images don't have any editable layers, quite a few of them are originally .jpg and have tons of artifacts, too.
What's the easiest way for me to adjust a background from white to dark grey on an image like pic related? I'm using Krita, but I'd imagine the process is similar across all image editors.
Should I do the adjustments with the larger versions of the images and then downsize them to the 128x128 size I'm using?
im in photoshop. but i literally used the magic wand on the white areas then Ctrl+U to lower the lightness

Thanks man. Your pic somehow inspired me to finally draw after weeks of being a useless piece of shit

Alright, I created a background layer and colored it blue so it's easy to see.
Then I used the selection tool to select around the profile of the character.
However, when I try and color the white to alpha to make it transparent, I get this weird blotchy mess of varying intensities of alpha and I'm not sure how to fix them.

>art has to be pretty
Art is not art when its creation does not require any skill whatsoever. Now kindly fuck off.

Post your work.

it's funny how without the devotional stuff associated with religion the best modern man can do is go back to the 'no masturbating' thing
hey why don't you also try knelling down next to your bed at night and thinking about all the things you're thankful for.
maybe that will 'surprisingly' also make you feel better overall.
>>2957279
kneeling* why autocorrect to knelling phone, when has anyone used knelling in a sentence
Do you find it original? Appealing? share your thoughts.
Why did you not post this in the style thread. These special snowflake threads never (ever) go well

And it looks gay
Upsetting to look at. I pretty much hate you as a person.
What drawing pad would you recommend to buy for someone who wants to draw professionally but pretty cheap (about 100 dollars)?
I was thinking of buying a Huion H610 Pro because they seem to be much better than any other cheap drawing pad but give other recommendations

Is the Wacom Intuos Art tablet good for a beginner?
>>2927615
Yes but they do take some time to get use to.
>>2927615
better invest in cintiq 13hd
>>2927615
I use it and it works great. But do consider getting a bigger one if you can, because as you progress, the small work area may limit your progress
Beginner that loves to draw on paper.
Have difficulties drawing digitally.
Anyone think this tablet will be helpful/good for people who love to draw on paper but hate the hassle of making paper art into digitized versions?
>>2957420
I don't understand for what occassion would people want this instead of just scanning it with a scanner or a phone app.
Now you'll be able to use up battery even when working traditional, hooray...
Well it is more about wanting the feel of pen and paper and not having to scan the work and going through tracing the whole drawing...again
What should I take into account I need to grind:
So far I came up with these:
>Perspective
>Anatomy
>values
>Rendering
>Focal point
>line of movement
>Composition
>Materials
>Color theory
Do I need to grind anything else?

ngmi
delete this thread too
>talent
>ligameme
>being asian
Sorry sweety, practice is useless without those ;)
>>2957247
>Perspective
>Anatomy
generic, "use 3d objects in perspective to draw people"
>values
>Rendering
generic, "Use perspective to find where the light source is"
>Composition
this is where I think books will help the most. Idk if books on cinematography will help
>Focal point
>line of movement
>Materials
>Color theory
I havent gotten this far yet

Ok, sorry.
Anyone know anything about pointillism? Doing a painting for a class and not sure what I want to paint. It would have to be something with lots of different colors, dont want it to look flat or 2 dimensional.
Doesn't need to have too many colors, the point of puntillism is that the viewers eye mixes the colors not your palette

Can't help, but bump for interest
>be me
>be bored at school, car trip etc
>have just pen/pencil and notebook
>draw pretty good things, have a lot of ideas what to draw next
>be 100% ready for drawing
>music, pencils, energy, etc
>draw really shitty things, no ideas what to draw
>>max tilt

What to do? How to cure this?
Or drawing isnt thing made for me?
