Do you guys get extremely angry when you encounter a problem with your art? I haven't been able to get a piece finished in weeks because I devolve into raging fits trying to learn new things. I almost threw my Intuos over this. I have no art friends so I don't even have anyone to give me some insight. How do you guys cope with this?
>>2957587
Yes, i just keep going.
>>2957587
Wow, you should never play any competitive game if THAT angers you so much.
>>2957591
Same here. It's frustrating sometimes, but I do the best I can and if what I'm doing ends up being shitty, I'll try to do better next time. No point crying about it all day.

Also if you could show courtesy by resizing your images to 1000x1000 or less before posting them there, thanks.
So I've been drawing for some time and have some money to spend, I've been thinking about buying a better drawing tablet for some time now, it seems most of what I learn about drawing isn't really applied to digital art for now because my tablet is too small, I can't even do proper lines from my shoulder on it, everything is mostly done by finger motion which sucks and trying to get a nuanced line right just kills my will to draw, too many tries for something very simple.
Anyway, I've been thinking about buying a XP Pen drawing tablet, because Wacom is just too expensive for me. Anyone here uses it? Any experience?
Alternative (non Wacom) drawing tablets thread I guess.
XP Pen, Huion, Ugee, Monoprice, which one do you guys recommend?
I was thinking about these tablets: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B06X1BJM43

pls respond

why are you bumping (after 2 whole minutes) on one of 4chan's slowest boards
I really want to get a laptop/drawing tablet but the surface pro 4 is very expensive.
I've become fascinated with this artist and want to adopt his theme. So how can I translate the "uncanny valley" feeling into my art?
Is it the eyes? Do i draw each limb ofa character in a different style? Is it a hidden element with cold meaning, like the arms?
Tell me! I WANT to bring out the feeling I get from this picture!
Open photo in Photoshop
Filter -> Liquify
So uncanny

Stop bitching and critique his shit. Fuck you.
Are you as disgusted by this graffiti as all the fine arts students seem to be?
>Just for context, for people who still think this is funny: this exhibition has already faced a lot of vandalism including pieces being knocked over and broken, aggressive messages being put up on the work, etc. And as far as we know this is the most vandalized any exhibition has ever been. As Michael said earlier, this is equivalent to someone coming into a Chem lab and scrawling all over someone's final project.
>>2955698
On the one hand, it is funny to make fun of fine arts students. I think a lot of fine art is garbage and stupid.
But it's extremely shitty to deface someone else's work in any way.
I still feel sad occasionally about a drawing a mean classmate tore up of mine in middle school even though compared to what I do now it was trash anyway.
>bitch turned around, she was sitting at my desk for group projects
>Asked if she could tear the drawing while holding it up
>Before I could even answer she already tore into it
>Had to get right in her face (Known as a violent person back then) before she stopped
>teacher did nothing but i got written up for trying to bring a cup to the water fountain, something the principal agreed was retarded (I wanted to just fill it up, drink it at the fountain, then come back with the empty cup)
>hate that teacher so much i'm raging about it autistically on an unrelated 4chan post
>>2955698
I think most "fine art" made after WW1 should be thrown in a pile and burned. The artists should be lined up and shot.
>>2955698
A true contemporary fine artist would view the graffiti as part of the artistic experience of their piece and adopt it as part of their project
Hi I've started digital drawing last year I need your opinions so far.

is this one of those many tumblr migrants we are getting these days? please read the sticky. there are threads where you can post your art. in your case that would be the alt/ stylization thread.
I get that it's your style and all but everything is too distorted
Face is long as fuck and the arms and hands are tiny like a child's, it doesn't match. I also can't tell what his expression is. Is he happy? Worried? Is that even a smile?

Who can /Andy/ The hardest?
There a trustworthy place where I can get a good quality skull bust of roughly the same size as pic related?
Anatomy tools has great quality but they're much too small for me.
have you tried a graveyard?

you're mom

>Anatomy tools has great quality but they're much too small for me.
Is your dick really that big?
I want to transition into digital drawing from traditional. I heard there was a bit of a learning curve with a regular tablet, so I was looking at just buying a ugee screen tablet and eventually save up for a cintiq later on. Would this be better than learning how to use a reg tablet only to switch to a cintiq later on? They're both about the same price ranger anyway
>>2955820
an ugee can be your end game if it's big enough
If you're serious about this, get a cintiq.
I started with a Bamboo, but when I got a Cintiq my productivity and quality in digital increased 10fold. Drawing on a Cintiq is BETTER than drawing paper, as it's nigh identical + you have all the digital tools.
If you are a /beg/inner in art, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.
RESIZE YOUR IMAGES TO ~1000 PIXELS:
#1)
>screenshot the image and post that instead (I recommend ShareX)
#2)
>change camera capture settings to something smaller
#3)
>send to computer and resize in MSPaint

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.
