It's not absolutely necessary. When you look at the earlier works of Beksiński you'll notice that he never properly studied anatomy or perspective - he just made a lot of shitty paintings, and he kept making them until he get good enough.

That being said, most professional illustrators will recommend learning how to draw before learning how to paint - learning fundamentals (like anatomy, perspective, composition etc) can be done just as well with pencils, while being easier, faster and cheaper.

It's an animation software retard. It's better than CSP and Photoshop for animation because it's built for it, but for anything else use something else

I don't know why I'm replying when it's obvious you already googled it based on the image you posted.

I use it every day. Like the other anon said its for animation but the pro version is pretty much as good or better than phitosgop. Imo its better optimised and doesnt hog yhe cpu like ps does. It can crunch through thousands of high res frames like theyre nothing.

It can be a problem if you're not careful.
I'd recommend getting an angled drawing board or something.
It will also be more comfortable for your wrist and neck.

It is a bad thing. It's going to fuck up your proportion and perspective.

Get an angled drawing board or drafting table (I recommend a portable board you can put on a flat table). They're used for a reason.

It depends. If you were drawing your average drawings, it would be bad, and an angled board would help.

However, you can utilize your elongated technique and create 3D drawings, which require you to be on an angle (Like in the Pic)
