IF YOU ARE A /BEG/INNER IN ART, please use this thread to post pieces for critique or ask for advice. We should not have to make new threads or post in the Drawthread with our fundamental exercises.
Feel free to post even the smallest exercise you have done to show you are still trying, do not give up, make someone proud.

TRY TO BE MORE ACTIVE AND GIVE PEOPLE SOME FEEDBACK - many studies are left unreplied, which is a bit sad and can be quite demotivating for the people that try their best to improve, but are left directionless.

Whether it's on deviantart, an amino community, YouTube, or some other art site, I've seen people give destructive criticism and lower an artist's self esteem instead of giving constructive criticism and helping an artist. I doubt anyone knows how to give constructive criticism. Would they rather people make recolors or steal their art or someone else's?! I wanna name an artist so bad...

How do people like Rebecca Sugar and Natasha Allegri come up with cool concepts?
Just wondering, how people come up with amazing new ideas. I spent about 6 months learning fundamentals, but I can only copy from references and my ideas are crappy.
For example, been watching Steven Universe and characters are amazing, the concepts are amazing. How do you even come up with stuff like that you would need to be a genius?
Yet I think to draw something and nothing comes out. Mostly, been doing drawabox stuff. Trying to get serious, not sure how people study to come up with really good ideas.

part of steven universe comes from sailor moon. I too admire Sugar's creative abilities, but it isn't godly and certainly not unattainable.
