Why do these people draw faces like this
To express political dissatisfaction.
LOOKS GOOD

Who are "these people"? Virtually no one draws anime like this anymore.
Committing a cardinal /ic/ sin: I am not the artist.
I am however, in contact with the artist re: redoing this comic to make it better so I would like to hear other opinions.
It's fairly sloppy as it is (it was scribbled for a /co/ drawthread) so here's the synopsis if you can't decipher it (Swat Kats characters, by the way): Ann is jealous of Callie's chest and the attention it gets her. She tries to retaliate by running out to buy a very revealing dress but the men still prefer Callie and Abby to her. Later, she has gotten breast implants to try to outdo Callie but Callie isn't petty enough to even realize what she's doing, meaning Callie's morally superior as well as having superior natural beauty. Ann's back hurts from the sudden new weight on her chest.
Here's what I've got already:
-Ann's implants should be comically large so she looks more ridiculous in her attempt to outdo Callie
-Since the plot is about Ann having a jealous rivalry with Callie, is including Abby for one panel just a distraction? But her appearance effectively escalates the situation instead of just repeating it, which is vital for the rhythm of the comic. Is there a way to accomplish this with only Callie? Or would making her more prominent in the panel with Abby do the job?
For reference here's a picture by a different artist which the costume design in the comic clearly borrows from. It is in turn based on the famous photo of Sofia Loren and Jayne Mansfield.
Should Callie perhaps be without her glasses in the comic? It fits the formal party atmosphere better I think but the glasses are a highly recognizable part of her design so maybe that would be a mistake.

So you don't want to pay an artist

Read the OP again:
>I am however, in contact with the artist re: redoing this comic to make it better
Maybe I should have mentioned; I'll be paying him to redo it.
I painted the former president of Brazil being beheaded by the federal judge responsible for investigating corruption crimes.
What do you think about this painting?
It's nice. Don't know about the contingency there but it bothers me that:
>decapitated head shows emotion
>politicians beheading each other is a very common theme
>WHY is it a painting? photoshop could've done the job easily
In short, it looks like a pic from facebook I'd watch for one second and keep scrolling, it doesn't really make me think

It's fucking wonderful.
>>3039630
Better than everything i have ever done
How come you're not pursuing your dream of drawing sexy/cute anime girls?

Time to self cringe. Share some of your old amateur work if you still have any.
You first
only if ppl promise not to reverse image search and bully
It's pretty bad but I don't feel cringe. Failure only gives you speed to get closer to your goals.
This is the oldest drawing I have from when I was 17. Yes, her age is in the clock.
Anyone else got a problem with photoshop losing pressure sensitivity when opening other apps? For instance if i open VLC media player or Photo Viewer and its so annoying. Is there any way to only enable it for Photoshop?

I made a couple some years ago, but I can't remember if I used a fabric marker or sharpie; either way the ink has held up very well.
Anyone know which of the two is better for drawing on a t shirt? Sharpie or Fabric marker? Or no difference?
>>3039606
I've tried both but sharpie seems to fade at a slower rate imo. Try scanning it and mess around with iron on. After a three years the hand drawn ones I made are completely faded so I use iron on so the image can bind with the fabric a little better. Good luck faggot!

well it's been almost 8 years and mine still haven't faded!
Anyone else have input???
baka anons

What do I do?
Is there a nice characteristic male character reference gallery out there or something? plz help.

Draw guys that you want to fuck/get fucked by. Let it be a man's man type of guy like John Wayne or a twink.
It's all up to you.
>>3038289
dickbrains will never be able to draw good porn. but you guys will always have a target audience composed by other dickbrains, so don't worry about it.

Then you have no business trying to be an artist. Grow up, get through puberty, then come back to art.
If you're past puberty, go pay a prostitute or beg a fat chick to blow you, already. Again, if you can't get past "lewd" then you have no hope of ever advancing as an artist. Go buy a porno, it's cheaper and far less frustrating, and you won't waste people's time here.
Sorry if that's blunt, but it's the truth.
Are there any documentaries on youtube about the absurd amount of effort it takes to get gud?

How much do you think you're being held back by self-consciousness? If you didn't give a shit about people's perceptions, would you network more frequently? Would you comment and PM people you wouldn't normally?
How much is your self-consciousness and social awkwardness holding you back from your potential popularity, and what can you do about it?

So is it possible to start earning money through comissions before the end of summer?
Why before the end of summer? Be more precise with your question because as it stands we have nothing to go on
Can anyone identify this work for me? I would appreciate it greatly.
Date at the bottom left says 1935 but I can't tell what the name is, apologies for the sideways reorientation.
