Post neat artwork by other people in here.
Question:
What would you call the line work in art like this?
I'm gonna have about 3 weeks of free time real soon and I wanna try drawing in this style, but I don't know where to even start with it or where to find more.
I would call it hatching
interesting style though
reminds me of that bomber sequence in heavy metal

lazy and messy.

That's how I like em
Is anyone here good at sonic art? I might need a small bit of help with something I'm making.
I've been told on another board that the lower body doesn't exactly look right, and that the face looks flat. Is there anything that I can do to fix these problems?
>>3066153
Probably because your construction was just a bunch of circles. At least you had an axis for the head to create a sphere. How do you expect to avoid a flat drawing without establishing planes in your construction? Might want to head to /beg/, this is basic fundamental stuff.
>>3066153
Maybe you can do something like that. Again it's all depends on what exactly you want to do with a character.
Do you get commissions on a regular basis? How long did it take to get to that point?

Is the market for drawing cute anime girls still viable?
>>3056030
there's not a fucking mathematical formula for that, you moronic imbecile.
just the fact that you are asking this is guarantee that you're never gonna make it. you need a functional brain to make it.
>>3056030
Why would ever want that? I'd rather work with someone in a book/comic/manga or anything creative
Doing comissions is monkey see monkey do job, its literally just as degrading and consuming as working on entry job you also have to work vs people who do this shit for basically free and chinks who are workaholics, why would someone want to waste their lives doing that is beyond me
I know not everybody is born with a creative mind to be a writer, but you can work with one
It's signed V.D. Rara (or Rava). It's hard to see
>practice
>improve
Anyone else know this feel?
>>3067565
me:
>don't practice
>improve anyway
>>3067565
not really
i never notice when i improve, never feel it. it's only when i compare old work to my current stuff and i'm like "oh yeah, this... was harder back then, and looks worse."
I don't practice that much and I still improve with every piece a lot. Am I talented? Should I draw more?
I don't want to sound like I am full of myself but I really think that I am special in at least some capacity I draw like 10 hours a week the most and I still go faster than anyone here.
how do i make my sketches tidy? ive seen a lot of pro artists with a super clean sketching style. is there any exercises i can do to practice sketching cleanly?
pic related, im looking to sketch like the drawing on the left
should of mentioned this, but i want to sketch like the blue parts of the image, my lines also come out a lot heavier than that, even when using a blue pencil
this is another example of how i want to sketch

her eyes are bulging. you placed them too far out
I always dismiss my own ideas as worthless after overthinking them.
How do i stop giving a fuck and start drawing whatever pops up in my head?
stop overthinking them
>>3066937
How
Also should i write every idea down right away?

remember that no one cares about you and you're not the center of the universe.
The same way you sometimes hear cars outside the window is the same way you are that car noise in someone elses life.
You're not important and no one cares. You will die and be forgotten.
memento mori you fuck. just like, do it man.
What pencils do you prefer? I like 2hb pencils.

I am trying to learn how to do Pixel Characters.
I know some things about pixelart but I am very new to it.
I don't know how to shade or make my characters more detailed.
Does anyone have any tips?
This is a character I recently made 32x32 image
Step 1: Fuck off
Step 2: Learn how to fucking draw first, THEN do pixel art
Step 3: Still, fuck off
>>3067066
jeez i thought this board was for art advice
I'm sorry i didn't realize this was the be a dick board
>>3067053
Nice start.
Try the burn and dodge tools for shading and highlights.
ok so ive a few character design projects coming up but im completely demotivated.post some cool character design ideas or concepts or whatever.
pic is bait/ kind related
I was half ass doodling 80s style characters a while ago. This ones my favorite.

I have the opposite problem that a lot of you guys have. Instead of vidya getting in the way of art, art is getting in the way of vidya
thanks for your blogpost
>1 hour of drawing
that much better at producing art and some degree of satisfaction from time well spent
>1 hour of gaming
immediately followed by regret
How is this a problem?

Thanks for your tweet
Would learning to draw with my left hand increase my drawing skills or will I just be shit at drawing with 2 hands? Now obviously I know it won't automatically make me a god but would learning to use your left hand technically give you more mileage and cause you to think?
>>3066562
i think you're overthinking this anon...
It probably won't increase your drawing skills but at least you'll have a backup if your right hand gets damaged somehow.
