Im not a pro, but in my opinion it needs some post processing. Somehow the resolution also looks shitty sometimes. Also its not very interesting, maybe if you live there but not for someone else.

The dubstep and flashing text was annoying enough for me to almost turn it off at the start so I'm probably not the right one to ask.
But if you want to do time lapse then at least show some interesting change over time or behavior from people.

Does anyone know which brushes and app this guy uses? I really liked his style but couldn't replicate it since I've always been drawing on sketchbook where it's smoothish. Couldn't even replicate it on painter. Also a lot of photoshop brushes I found online act like the Window crash screen Window if I apply strokes. Am I just supposed to paint them?
Also what apps and brushes do you use thread.

This is a thread where AD briefs will be posted for you to create and crit each others card mockups in purpose of creating portfolio worthy pieces or training to be on a future Magic the Gathering artist.
For those who want to give it a shot, here's the assignment: (A fairly ok brief I found for starters)

Color: White Creature
Location: Plains clearing near an ancient village or something of that sort
Action: A weathered but virile middle-aged battle-cleric sits, wearing the remains of his tattered studded leather armor, cross-legged in front of a small stylish pyre. The fire is surrounded by a ring of short standing stones (maybe 2 feet high) that are engraved on all sides with pictographs/runes. He is coaxing a magical tongue of flame (maybe it burns yellow, or pure white) from the pyre and has been using this magic flame to set alight the stones as if they were some sort of impossible candle. Maybe we see two already lit in this fashion. The pictograms/runes glow softly on these two lit cairns.
Focus: The cleric
Mood: A weaver of magical tales
-Create 3 sketches which work for you and post them. Afterwards we can crit each other and vote which sketch works best among the 3 created.

what are the best revelations or milestones you hit relating to art?
something that came to me today (which might be obvious to most people) was that the more you draw something you avoided because you are bad at it, the more fun it gets. (inb4 and water is wet)
i had been almost completely avoiding drawing figures, and only focusing on faces until around august. since then i've been progressively working on figures more and more until i'm now getting inspired by other artists figures and proportions.
it's really made me realise how much staying in the cumfart zone fucked me over (at least i can draw a decent enough head

I love drawing but I need to be in peak mental and physical condition to even construct something as simple as a face.
Am I the only one with this problem?
I've been drawing for years now, read loomis when I was a kid, but still the entire process is hard as fuck for me.
