this may seem like utter crap advice but your stuff is pretty awesome but may be too detailed / over rendered for the audience you are aiming for. People nowadays like concepts more than extreme detail.
Hence why shadman still makes bank. He can pump out sexy scenario after scenario because he doesn't sweat the small stuff.
Just don't want you overworking.
Loved Dmitry's stuff before he became obsessed with details.

How much time do you spend per day on art? I've always been a casual, occasionally doing some studies of faces or whatever, but now I want to get serious and actually learn to draw. I am also currently doing a degree in Electronic Engineering, however, so I'm unsure how much time to spend per day on art

At least 6 hours a day everyday, usually between 8-10. However I am an unemployed loser with no social or love life. I only care about getting good and eventually killing myself after Ive reached that goal. Also will be running out of savings soon and will be forced to work again after like 3 months of massive art gains, someone please just kill me now.
>>
im studying to get into uni for graphic design and i work 6-9 hours a day (6 hours monday-wednesday and sunday, 9 hours for the rest)
I tend to work in 3 hour breaks, work 3 hours, rest 3 hours. Also i make sure to up the difficulty after every break. At start i will start easy and just study anatomy and stuff then up the difficulty and do perspective or industrial drawings or smth and then do entrance exam questions at last.(the entrance exam works differently here and a very small part of it is actually showing your portfolio)
>>

Ill clarify that I dont do informal "studies" and that doesnt include my time studying things anatomy, color theory, etc. all of my drawing time is devoted to fully developed passion pieces, its what makes me whole.

So I'm looking for a tattoo drawing, and since I cant draw myself, thought of look for your help.

It should be like this image, but i was thinking of a cooler bear, maybe some braid. More viking-ish, and probably wouldn't draw the face, just helmet and beard. Would anyone have a drawing like that or willing to make one if had any ideas with my description?

Would tattoo it maybe with a sketch-style trace..don't know yet

>What is The Foundation Group?
Looking to hone your skills in the fundamentals within 1 to 2 years? Look no further and join /ic/s most serious art study group--The Foundation Group! Serious applicants ready to take their art to the next level will post their studies in this thread amongst their peers simply for the adrenaline factor, share tips, and compare what each person did. The threads shall serve as documentation for all of /ic/ to witness serious progress.

>The Purpose
The goal is to set up an *anonymous school with classmates at exactly your level or slightly above so that we all start at square 1. Studying can be dull, boring, and not motivating if you have no rivals and that is the spirit of this thread. This is NOT a beginner thread and has set specific videos to watch however you're more than welcome to use additional resources for more knowledge on topics.

>Schedule
Grace period starts today from 1/9/16-1/16/16 for week 1 assignments to get people on board.

We have a Skype group for assignments and most talking will be done there; as a healthy reminder no shitposting will not be tolerated. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Any off-topic in the slightest and you will be get my boot up your rear. If you want to join off-topic /ic/ group just message me at my skype handle: https://join.skype.com/AqSDW8xicLUv admin: haru

I'll join, will share brainstorm school foundation course files, as those are great examples an theory (not videos)
we should make a rank system inside the group, with a fixed % of participants to promote to next rank weekly, because to mix different skill levels won't help anyone
giving a fixed amount of feedback to other participants should be mandatory
>>
>>2343690

It's okay, I'll set up the the files stuff. Are you talking about a rank system like what unmotivated does? You'll need to help me out with that one.
>>
Hello, I'm really interested in joining but your group appears as 404 and theres like a million Harus on Skype

Just do something else. Honestly, if you feel the need to drive yourself to do something cool on it, it's not gonna be great. Leave it for a while and if you really want to keep going with it, then you should.

Post your current drawing here and give constructive critique to others!

Please make sure your posted image is clear, downsized to around 1000 pixels wide, rotated to the correct orientation, and that any unused space is cropped.
If you want critique on a drawing from the previous thread, you can delete it there and repost in this one.

Once you understand anatomy and some rules in regards to life draw, when do you know it's safe to tackle and stylize your work? It seems like a lot of people who stylize follow the same set of rules of trying to achieve 'cute' or character appeal. But where does one obtain the knowledge for these things?
