I don't care that people do this but that they lie about it is unforgivable. He says he spent 5-6 days on it
>>2388954
Maybe he's just shit no?
>>2388954
I guess the best thing is that he'll only get money from patreon or views/ads since he doesn't do commissions and would be completely useless in a studio/firm. So, atleast he doesn't have any real impact other than impressing normies.

Post your current drawing here and give constructive critique to others!
Please make sure your posted image is clear, downsized to around 1000 pixels wide, rotated to the correct orientation, and that any unused space is cropped.
If you want critique on a drawing from the previous thread, you can delete it there and repost in this one.

working on removing contrast
fuckin god damn this is going to take forevvvvvvvver
Any crits on this? Took around an hour
>>2391174
Removing contrast?
Why would you do that exactly?
Is this close to how a cup of coffee would look at this angle in real life?
Can somebody red line it?
Don't mind a little cartography myself every now and then
>>2393787
oh god. i drew maps and stuff all throughout middle and high school. pic related, something i did when i was a freshman.
drawing a coastline was like porn to me. it was so fucking cool. i always thought about certain places being populated by different cultures and stuff. really fun to do when i'm bored, but now i draw people and other stuff.
>>2393787
Maps are awesome. Where is this map from?
>>2393787
Collage as Cartography is some next level shit.
Documents a time an place effectively through the trash of the inhabitants.
This is a recent picture i did is it any good or what? honestly what do you think?
I'm sure your mom will really love it, good job.
>>2393663
i love it!
can i buy it for 20 cents i need this as my beermat
>>2393713
I would give you a copy of it if it's something you think is cool art but i wouldn't post it to you for free come get it.
Let's have a little fun with this quickly sketched up character prototype. She hasn't got a name. I was just practicing drawing very large breasts.
Holy fuck is it the Evie guy
I don't know.
Theyre not into posting this kind of stuff though. They generally post work safe.
Do you use porn pictures for studying?
I like to draw porn so yeah
How can I even draw if my dick is so hard that if I look down it goes into my mouth?
Jesus christ man, yeah I'm thristy af
and no don't tell me to draw ugly people, I also have a fetish 4 ugly girls
No. 99.99% of the time they're poorly lit.
Look at this symbol drawing nonsense, this guy needs loomis bad.
>>2387907
I get "symbol drawing" is often used to give nonsense critics over here. however op pic is really shitty, and you could arguably point at some typical "symbol drawing" mistakes.
The version actually used in the movie was very amateurish too, but, as I understand, the character was not supposed to be a pro, anyway.
>>2387907
face and hands don't look bad; breasts and torso aren't keeping up
>>2387950
It was implied he used art as a way of getting laid, didn't he?
did i get the vaporwave aesthetic right guys
this is for a design project
aesthetic yes. But you've got a shit composition. Bunch up the elements and make some white space. At the moment it looks flat as fuck senpai
i'm new to all these terms but i think i know what you mean senpai

Sparky is that you
since art is dead we must die
advice?
plz dont ignore me
If you are attemptingt pixel art, you need to draw with a 1 pixel brush. Several of your lines vary in thickness in a very unpleasing way.
>>2394471
its mainly because i resized the image my lines are actually the same size
>>2394490
Then clean up your lines.
Grip thread. Post your grip. Grip critiques are welcome
>>2394322
can people be this pretentious? there is no right or wrong way of fucking holding a goddamn pen, for fuck sake
>>2394632
Actually you are the one being pretentious. There is not only one correct way, but there are absolutely wrong ways to hold a pen. Having a appropriate grip for the tool you are using is of outmost importance if you want to work long hours with maximum accuracy.
>>2394632
They have to fill the gaps thats created by their lack of skill.
I have decided to stop being an arrogant piece of shit. I know my art isn't the best but I took advice and it got me where I am. I have taken another peak in my skill where I am trying to learn more again and make my stuff look better, but I really need help with pointers. This is a couple months old but I feel like it represents what I am capable of right now. I know proportions are not satisfactory for everyone but it is recognizable, in other words I may have developed a style for myself. I'm still trying to learn how to make beautiful yet simple hair. Right now I feel like I am doing the illusion of fabric-like hair. And fingers still frustrate me no matter how many tutorials I have looked at and tried. They just don't match my drawing procedure so I gotta figure out what works for me.
Anti-aliasing jesus christ
I like it. Keep workin' bruh. The only way you'll get fingers/hands down is by drawing them hundreds if not thousands of times.
>>2393987
When it comes to anti-aliasing, I have experimented with levels and methods. I actually like the aliased look when I work digitally. I like having the low-res look. It has also helped me do some rom hacking on old games just so I can get my hand into programming.
