I'm trying to become a comicbook artist and last night a friend of mine who works at ubisoft (character designer) suggested me this school, it's an international school and apparently its not that expensive for me since i live in europe.
i was just looking for opinions of people who attended the 6 month professional course if there are any here
bumperiño
Nobody here went to any kind of school; they're a bunch of people who pretend to know about art so they can insult people are are trying to learn art.

What is the point of filling your line work in with solid color?
>>2395112
Post the full image please.

you can put your colors on a mask and your control doesn't matter when you color it.

Hi there!
I could really use a lucky break -- About ten years ago I remember using a bit of software that would create trippy spiral compositions, and you could play with the parameters to make all kinds of interesting things come out.
I can't for the life of me remember the name, but I'll add some images of similar creations.
Thanks!
I've been working as a professional illustrator for about 8 years now. Most of you have probably seen some of my works. (No, I'm not going to share who I am, because I don't work under an alias and I don't want this to creep into my private life)
The thing is, I've lost ALL motivation to draw, I've also lost my interest in videogames, animation and cartoons.
It's like someone flipped a switch and now I find all this shit that I was invested in incredibly lame. Videogames are for retard kids and most cartoons are shit.
I've taken a sabbatical, haven't touched a pen in a week and I'm in this total void of motivation and I dont know what to do about it.
How did you get out of your artists block?
pic only related on meta

at some point you'll need to do something meaninful
the solution is taking action, not blaming the quality out there
You're in the pain train right now

Jesus Christ is his mouth supposed to be opened or something?
I always read of new news articles on sculptures, artworks and sheets of documents being discovered in museum collections that are very important or related to very important figures.
How come they're just being found? Don't museums keep a record of everything they have?
Anyone who has worked in a museum know anything about this?
>>2398424
Museums binge buy shit from collectors and resellers when they get some budget allocation or donations.
They also get a lot of shit donated in. They're usually understaffed, bureaucratic or just outright money laundering, so finding out what they have and if it's legit does take some time.
A lot of items come to them without much information, and the provenance of a lot of artworks that are attested in writing often aren't kept track of and they don't know how it got to certain collectors. Sometimes drawings by artists have sources or purpose that are unknown and needs a lot of investigating and luck. As for documents, it requires a lot of research and even if they might have read something important before they might not have had other necessary information to make much use of it. The the detective-like field of attribution using wide research has only been recently developed.

This isn't every time BUT a lot of times they find a shit ton of pieces of many scrolls that are in no particular order. It can take hundreds of years to piece these fragments by hand. A lot of them still incomplete but can be cross referenced with another, separate incomplete scroll which is obscure and only known by a handful of people.
People are only now starting to scan these tiny fragments and having a computer piece them together which will be much faster but I don't know how wide spread its use is.
>keep hearing that perspective is the most important thing
>its the hardest one
fuck this
>>2397379
whos even saying that? How is it hard, perspective is literally a mathematical equation, you cant get it wrong.

>>2397381
Perspective is easy when you draw simple boxes but try anything more complex than that.
Do you fags hang your own art that you don't sell?

some people discount him on style, others acknowledge his skills and his tutorials. Many say hes better than 99% of i/c. Thats all youll get.
I need help. I can't look at anything anymore, faces, cloth, architecture, without constalty thinking how I would draw or paint it. I constantly try to construct stuff I see in my brain and wondering how I would draw it.
I'm locked in artist mode 24/7 and I think it's becomming a psychosis.
I constantly sketch on everything, I constantly have to draw, an when I'm not sketching I always try to remember stuff I've seen to draw it back home.
I can't fucking relax anymore.
Is this normal?
