William Henry Johnson was a famous biracial painter who was born in North Carolina in 1901. He is a major figure in 20th century art, even having a US postage stamp created in his honour.
The drawing was commissioned by Heidi Durrow to honour Mixed Heritage Month.

Could I get a quick critique? I plan on remaking it digitally and I just want some quick pointers.

If you plan on remaking it digitally I would suggest doing a layover (Whether using a piece of tracing paper or a separate layer in Photoshop) and adding a background in perspective. Such as adding a bridge under sonic & metal as well as buildings in the background. I think that would really help this image a lot. Also re-positioning the clouds to be a bit more dynamic would be nice.

01- every person in the contest need to draw 1 thing per week
02- the draw is based on the artist picked that the monday of every week (monday is a free day)
03- the draw is full body, no exceptions.
04- person who win the last week choise the next artist for the next week.
05- win the anon who get 3 win at least 3 weeks.
06- ONLY people who participate can decide who win.

Alright /IC/ I need your help.
So my motherly unit has given me the job of looking up a certain Chinese artwork's translation. She said the name of the bit is 'son of the dragon King ascends into the heavens' . but I'm not too sure if that's the name. That and I'm not exactly Chinese literate. Can you all help a simple anon out?

lets assume your portrait skill is your fitness function
symbol drawing is equivalent of population during its first iteration and as it mutates/crosses/randoms it becomes something greater if you guide it the right way
