Why are you starting a new fucking thread when there is one already?
Working on my dragons what does /ic/ think so far

Very original you'd make a fine concept artist don't forget to add space marines.
take a look to ' the dracopedia project ', you should find good references there
I'm going to be dead soon. I have made a number of sketches of some occasional merit as well as a few oils. They will most likely be destroyed on my passing. While I am certainly no master of my craft I think they may provide amusement and be worth squireling away on the off chance. How might I safe guard them from a post mortem bonfire?
idk but r.i.p, bro

Do what old people do: Hide it in the walls of your house
In a plastic bag or something too, to protect from weather damage and mold.
Just think of it: some family who buys your house years after you die will decide to do some housework and dig up a bunch of neat art out of their walls. They might just keep it! Who knows? And be sure to write them a letter, or leave them something nice!

The block is most likely to be utterly bulldozed one day. That won't work....
Put it in the loft, could still be binned.
Maybe I need a lawyer.
Any of you ever do body art casually?
Got bored during a lecture today so I pulled a sharpie and made it.
Took about 30 minutes.
>pic related, it later in the day
Show me your casual body art, desu.
Haven't done any recently, this pic is a couple years old. Before that I hadn't done any since high school or so.
It started as tracing the veins and then quickly got out of control. I like doodling on my hand. I just don't really do it anymore. I draw as a job so I don't really have a chance to just doodle on myself usually.
Did that shit all the time in highschool when I was bored in class.
btw if you're not using non-toxic water based inks or things specifically designed to be used on skin, you're absorbing some pretty nasty shit from that ink.

who gives a fuck?
How would I know if I had the Dunning Kruger Effect? How would I go by curing it? At the same time how do you deflate an inflated ego and stop the feeling of defeat and frustration from another Artist who's better than you?
One more thing how do you get over the fear of posting online and the mentality that you're not good enough to post online or that the place you're trying to post is not worthy for displaying your work and vice versa?
chances are if your asking if you have it then you dont.

You can solve all of these things by finding the nearest, high-rise building and fall from it head first.
DK is arrogance towards something difficult.
>perspective is easy, it's just lines
Is it possible to do something exactly like this with traditional tools?
yes, i don't see why not
>>2456560
It really depends on you and what you want to make. Digital tools are just that. Tools. Much like how acrylics and graphite are also just tools.
You can't replicate them exactly, but you can try.
Yes, but I don't see why anyone would want to. That glossy playdough look is a fucking cancer.
Just uploading some of my beautiful art.
Feel free to put art here.

If so, I might be able to do some passable shit.
>>2456269

http://vulpespietates.tumblr.com/
So I messed up and accidentally erased quite a lot of the default brushes of Clip Studio Paint.
Can someone lend me a .rar with those, please?
Reinstalling this is such a pain.

>>2456253

What program do I need to use in order to make things like this? I mean complex patterns using images I have.
Can I do it in photoshop?, if so, how?
you can do it in paint.net.
This particular one is
Effects > Distort > Polar Inversion
I placed some watercolour paper in a bath, then taped it to a board. The next day it is all spotty. What did I do wrong?
>>2455125
You put water colour paper in a bath
>>2455125
the sizing gel coagulated, you probably left it too long on the water, it's best to soak the paper for 3 mins up to maximum of 5.
I placed some watercolour paper in a bath
I write small because my regular sized letters look like a caveman scratched them onto the page.
Post your chicken scratch
I love what Aristotle has to say here... "Art completes what nature cannot elaborate." This is especially true with respect to art as a language,
>>2456116
"Art has no regard to the individual case."
This was particularly true in Greek drama, which contained plots which could equally have applied to anyone. Their drama, as Spengler says, was a depiction of someone simply "falling into destiny", while a modern character would attempt some form of "directional biography".
Anyway, that quote is just a great classical vindication of every kind of systematic, artistic Movement.
Why aren't there books on gouache?
This is probably the only one in existence. Why aren't there more people teaching gouache anymore? Same goes with inking, why are these once widely used mediums starting to vanishing?
>>2453515
>>2453518
THIS. As a gouache artist, I fuckin wish there were more access to tips and shit. I've watched the like, 12 youtube videos about it already.

What's the benefits of it?
Is Deviant art really dead? Been thinking about making a profile there. Or should I just go to tumblr like everyone else
pic unrelated
if you have any intrest in bettering yourself as a artist and as a human being. you will steer very clear from that place. its like tumblr for people that are depressed; you will only feed from the mediocrity and misery of others
>>2452406
DA or Tumblr?
>>2452400
it's deader than dead
