Can we talk about how fucking good Shad has become?
EHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
His women are starting to looknice but he can't do backgrounds to save his life. I do have to give him credit for pumping out new content every couple days. That's impressive.

ye look at those feet
that perspective is whack, dude.
also i haven't seen the show but i was under the impression morty was underage
Anyone want to try to start a virtual community of artists? Its way easier to meet people and discuss in a virtual 3d environment like that and you can upload your work and get feedback etc.
If your interested get a SL account and go to a place called "MAGE Sandbox".
>>2494213
Great, now I can hear you autists shout at me "It's shit read the sticky loomis" at me but in a virtual world. Twice the effort tripple the shitposts.
SL is still a thing?
>>2494226
It's not about second life it's about a 3D place where you can talk about shit. The environment is more conducive to discussion and meeting people than image boards

Post this on /x/, you'll find plenty of easily amused jabronies there that will gladly eat your edgy, tryhard garbage.
Share your fantasy wallpapers
wouldn't this be more appropriate to post in /wg/?
QUESTION
I think this thread is an appropiate place to ask, is Matte Painting very hard compared to regular painting? I have a job interview tomorrow to do matte painting for a TV ad, but I don't know if it will be too hard for me, I can paint properly, usually get praised a lot in draw threads, any advice?
Does the quality of a pencils really matter? Do you buy quality brands or just pick up made-in-China sets from ebay?
Also, which pencils are essential for your work?
>>2490945
>quality of a pencils
whelp i m high
>>2490945
What sort of pencils are you talking about? Graphite? Charcoal? Color? Pastel?
It really varies by material and what you're using them for.
Quality matters, but you can draw with anything and you shouldn't be blowing lots of cash if you're just practicing.
As far as graphite pencils go they're all mostly the same shit and you should buy your favorite brand that's readily available and doesn't cost a lot. That said, it's not like fancy pencils are a huge investment either, you can get a box of 12 Hi-Uni for $12 + shipping from Japan if you want to see what all the hype is about.
When you get into other things like charcoal and pastel you have brands that handle vastly different from each other, so it's not so much about quality but how it works for you, and for color work you definitely want something that's at least lightfast if you want the drawings to last.
>>2490951
Thanks for the post man.
I was mostly thinking about graphite; because to me it really seems like the small differences in shades, especially the ones with more lead, are irrelevant to anyone that's not an architect.
I mostly use it for sketching and practice but I was curious if general quality has some bigger significance I might be missing.
And I don't really know shit about Charcoal desu.
Who's better? Which book comes first?
If you have the spark, you don't ask. Someone with the spark would just work through both books, twice, and find out for themselves.
>>2489448
Thank you for not removing the warning.
>>2489448
The better book is the one you find easier to learn from. I personally prefer Hampton but if you find both equally helpful, then use both.
What are your 3 most visited boards assuming /ic/ is one of them.
/ic/, /fit/ and /vr/ and /co/ tied.
That's 4 boards doofus. I'd say /ic/, /fit/ and /sp/. I used to go to /co/ a lot but Marvel and DC killed any enjoyment I had in comics since my childhood.
/ic/ and /tg/. I don't really visit anything else here very often. I guess third would be /pol/ on 8ch. I go there like once a week just to catch up on latest memes and conspiracy theories.
>>2486661
/ic/,/co/,/v/,/pol/
I rarely on any of them.
Should I get good with traditional before working on tablet?
>>2492171
You can learn drawing on the computer just fine. Most people just advise against it because they can't trust you not being retarded and getting caught up in tools and tricks so they rather just take the choking hazard toys away from you and give you paper and pencil.
If you can't trust yourself not being retarded then do traditional first.
>>2492194
> not being retarded
what did he mean by this?
>>2492194
It's so easy for people like OP to do really close wrist drawing like they're writing words. If he never does traditional and learns to use his whole arm he'll be DA tier forever.
How long does it take you guys to make a full body character in full color? It takes me around 3 to 4 hours to do one.
30 seconds
Depends on how much detail you put in.
2-3 days because I'm easily distracted and a lazy faggot
What's up, buddies. So I really want photoshop since it is an industry standard but I'm a broke weeb.
Which got me wondering, did you guys pirate, purchase, or subscribe for adobe?
Was broke and tried the Jack Sparrow for CS6. Didnt work out for me because the install was screwy or because I'm a retard.
Bought CSP on sale for $50 and never looked back.

It was already installed on my computer when i bought it.
You can freely download all of the cs2 for free in the Adobe webpage, check it. You just have to register into adobe

I don't feel bad talking about these people because they've never once been a paying client...
Anyone else who streams, have a group of like 5-10 of the same exact people watch your every stream like clockwork? I mean every fucking time I stream, the exact moment I start of the stream within like 15 minutes these same 5 people wonder in and watch.
Anyone else creeped out by these people? I can't be the only one here that has the same people watch everyday. Do these people have lives?
What if they had the same schedule with the same free time during your hours of streaming?
I'd be super flattered, in a couple years I want that to happen to me. Just an intimate group of 10-20 people who come by and chat and watch me draw.
Then again they could be bots.
>>2493054
No, they are real people. And they often break into shit conversations like, HEY GUYS IVE BEEN THINKING OF BUYING A DILDO HOW CAN I GET ONE WITHOUT MY ROOMMATE FINDING OUT. That was one last week.
So you're streaming yourself drawing, but don't want people to watch?
Nigger do you want attention or not?
They're probably just on similar time schedules to you...that's not rare.
As for the shitty stuff in chat. Chat has always been bad on streams.
Heck, think back to what the chat was like during those Bob Ross streams...and that seemed to be a consistent flow too, not just similar time schedules.
>>Do these people have lives?
Of course not.
Looking for some feedback What do you think?
>>2492729
Great atmosphere, I fucking love the tree. The character kinda pulls the whole thing down because they're too detailed and badly drawn overall and doesn't adhere to the perspective.
So yeah, I'd get rid of the character.
bump
First time picking up a pencil in a very long time. I feel like I've neglected art since high school. What do you guys think? Just random words
Ok
legitimately impressed!!
>>2491711
I like. Finally something that's not animu.

How do I get to this level of sculpting?
>>2492382
Practice

Can I still apply to be a mod so I can delete this clickbait garbage? All these fucking aussies are ruining IC.
We all know this is shit-tier sculpting, why are you even posting this?
