Personally I don't like the idea of creating an entire new thread dedicated to drawing your own oc because it's basically selfish gibs me dat behavior. It's bad manners. What will happen if you reward people for making "draw my oc" threads, is more of these threads will pop up, and that's annoying. I wouldn't have a problem however if it were put in an already existing request thread, which I believe is what op should have done.
