Are there any other historical figures who turned out to be drug addicts?

Addiction is not real, many historical figures used drugs we now consider "addictive" but simply did not have the culture of helplessness to justify their character weakness as a disease.
Sigmund Freud liked cocaine. Winston Churchill was an alky. That's all i can think of off the top of my head.
Was the shit he took really considerd as a drug at this time? Because i doubt this.
its like people look back at someone from our time and say: He smoked. he was a drug addict

By modern standards vast numbers of historical figures would be alcoholics. They used to drink booze all day, albeit it was weaker than today

They had meth, but only in small doses. Morell gave Hitler a shit ton of excess meth in the form of Vitamultin (it was essentially meth on steroids) along with cocaine given through eyedrops which were 5-10 times stronger than the average dose.
Hitler was so fucked up the nigga was asleep during D-Day. You can't make this shit up
