Anyone else thinking of getting this?
I didn't back the kickstarter but I might buy it after it is released, not sure yet.
Of course it'll never be as substantive as a real book on the subject, but it is a really cool period and will be nice to have something visual.

Nope. I don't want it to do to the Second Punic War what 300 did to the Greco-Persian wars in popular culture.

300's (graphic novel) been bastardized and misunderstood. The sensational stuff was clearly meant to be the embellishments of the Greek narrator. The sheer number of people who don't seem to get this really rustles my jimmies.

Fuck Lindybeige.
Jesus, just read academic literature. That's what these people summarise anyway, along with sensational narrative.
There are probably not even footnotes
