Is fascism morally justifiable?
There is no such thing as objective morality.
Subjectively, it killed a very large amount of Germans and ruined Germany as a country, which is certainly a good thing.

What would the UK be like today if the Boleyn sisters never happened?

England would still be swept up by the Reformation. Too many political enemies were staunch Catholics for the more pragmatic monarchs to avoid the alternative that Protestantism gave them.

How comes Cleopatra is remembered as one of the most beautiful women in history when Charles II was left retarded and disfigured after some comparatively light incest?
Look at the dog breeds afficionados consider to be beautiful. They are all inbred to be near the point of biological extinction, yet they are not.

In we why did the Germans so fiercely resist the American invasion with all their might when they knew they had lost? They must have known their choice was between America and Russia why not put down their arms and choose the better option?
>>2945200
America only fought third tier shit that was left after Russia smashed all their proper forces
>>2945200
They didn't and they tried to. The nazi's planned for an on going guerrilla campaign and a continuation of the nazi state that never materialised. They also made numerous attempts to just surrender to the west and continue fighting the Soviets, which were all refused.
>>2945200
To be fair, America probably wouldn't have accepted anything other than unconditional surrender because that's just what America does. Blame it on Grant.

why has premartial sex increased dramatically the past half century?
>>2944676
It probably hasn't increased as much as you think it is, because it's become much more open and less stigmatized in the west today due to the sexual revolution. The major cause in its increase is probably that nobody's getting married anymore, whereas most people before the sexual revolution were getting married in their late teens.

It's set in 1403. I can tell because I'm the greatest medieval history expert on the planet.
And it's also written inside the D in Deliverance.

Eva, Lain, and Ergo Proxy.
Anyone have good recommendations that veer away from this trend? I don't really mind, but I'm growing weary of getting what appears to be a mystery show, only to end up actually being just a "suspense" show where the audience has too few clues to deduce anything until the show raises a curtain for them, followed by Sartre hopping out from behind the curtain and revealing that it was basically all a creative way to explain the Look or a tangential idea. Yurikuma was a surprisingly good suggestion I got a while ago, it somehow ended up being far more similar to Blade Runner than Ergo Proxy was. Throwing that out there to make the point that (for better or worse) nothing looks too stupid to me at first glance.
I did De Sartre's No Exit for my high school Drama practical piece. I was Garcin.

I know people like to give Hitler shit about attacking USSR but it was completely justified
>USSR was biding it's time by signing Molotov-Ribbentrop pact so they can reform their military after purges
>military reforms were well underway by 1941
>Stalin constantly probes Eastern Europe by undermining Rumanians and Yugoslavia thus threatening Axis only supply of oil
>Hitler knows this and fears that by 1943 his army wouldn't be able to stop the Soviets so he launches an preemptive invasion before the Soviets can join the war properly and are still weak
>destroying Soviets, Britain loses all hope of victory and sues for peace
He only fucked up when he launched a total war of annihilation. Stalin was very eager to sign a Treaty of Brest Litovsk version 2 by October 1941
>>2944352
>I know people like to give Hitler shit about attacking USSR but it was completely justified
I believe the main point is that Hitler launched a war that was genocidal both in its intent and execution.
Hitler might have faulty intelligence about USSR, but nowadays it's pretty established that Stalin had no intent for a full scale war. The Red Army was in no shape to conduct a war (and Barbarossa showed that). Stalin wanted to fuck around here and there in order to squeeze some more concessions (mainly in forms of technology transfers), but fuck he didn't want war, at least not yet.
>>2944352
There is literally no evidence that Stalin was planning to invade Germany. Also, people would be a lot more sympathetic to Hitler's invasion of Russia if it had simply been to remove Stalin from power rather than a deliberate effort to depopulate the USSR.
>>2944352
Germany prob would have WON ---- If not for Hitler - they should have killed him or stuffed him in a little box --- and just destroyed Moscow & USSR!

Historically speaking, why is this region a clusterfuck? Why does nobody talk about it as much as the Balkans too?
>>2944205
Because the Balkans are closer to the core of Europe, the Caucasus are where Europe ends.

>Historically speaking, why is this region a clusterfuck?
It's a mountainous area so the people there were split up into various distinct tribes. They never merged together and so today you have a variety of ethnic groups occupying a small space.
Said small space is also geographically vital for Russia to control. This causes conflict.

Why do liberals pretend Africa's modern borders derive from European colonial holdings? I hate to break it to everyone but Africa's modern boundaries don't actually sync up to Europe's colonial borders. The most egregious example is French West Africa which balkanized into many states.
It's not like French West Africa had internal borders or anything.
>>2943406
Every nation has internal borders. I could split Germany into 14 states but it wouldn't really be "Germany" would it?
>>2943409
No, then it would be the Roman Empire.
