It's impossible, conspiracy theorist can't be convinced by evidence or arguments, so I don't bother with the bush did 9/11, jew are behind this or that, or 2pac is alive in cuba dudes
I'm not an Israeli, why would I do this?
Why did the Irish not turn to the sea during the Great Famine? Ireland has a huge coastline that could have prevented all those people from starving

They forgot how to sail after generations of being farmers

A lot of fishermen sold their tackle or boats when the famine first started to buy meal. Having a crop fail one season was not unprecedented. They didn't anticipate multiple years of blight

Was Japan in ww2 truly 'Fascist'?
Let's say Japan never entered ww2 and resisted American influence. What would it be like today? Would it have democracy? Would it be as developed? Would anime exist?
>>2957632
It would probably be that world's North Korea, but with less famine and with more power.
Japan was isolationist for the longest time. Imperial Japan was also militaristic, expansionistic, racist, and was led by one dude that was worshiped as a god.
>>2957632
>absolute monarchy
>fascist
What did he mean by this?
>>2957656
By this point in time, Japan was a constitutional monarchy. It would be incorrect to say that the emperor did not hold any power, but it would be equally incorrect to suggest that he was running the country.
Fuck you Germanics.

Seeing all these threads about how shitty ac origins looks from a historical perspective made me wonder how historically accurate Kingdom Come is. They apparently tried to make it as accurate as they could, and had a team of historians working helping them. The game is set in 1403 in Bohemia. They also got this new trailer, the game is about half year away from being relised.

>how historically accurate Kingdom Come is
Extremely. They didn't "just" hire some historians for fluff, they've tried their hardest at every stage to model the setting as accurately as possible, right down to developing a unique "motion and timing" based sword combat system with the help of HEMA reenactors and medieval combat specialists. Obviously it's not a perfect 1:1 recreation of medieval Bohemia, but it's as close as possible with current technology. It remains to be seen if this translates into being a good game.
>>2957587
They just fucking ruined it with English instead of medieval Czech dubbing, i will pirate it instead of buying because of that.
>>2957624
This. I'm still probably going to get it but they should have done it all in Czech.
This guy is easy to listen to, and does a great job of explaining the protestant faith.
Any links of his vids? I find it hard to understand how anyone can adhere to that piece of shit offshoot of catholicism
>>2957610
Proddies take the Bible too seriously to be Catholics, but not seriously enough to be Jews. Really the worst of both worlds, simple-minded literalism but without the textual support.
>>2957615
I already know why its shit, what i want to know is why people adhere to it
in the 19th they were unofficial british colonies amirite?
>>2957311
Flag of Venezuela would make the most sense desu.

pretty much until the IMF appeared
I don't know but if they couldn't hold it makes it more an attempted colony.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_invasions_of_the_River_Plate#Second_invasion
Did Hitler cause the fall of European supremacy? From my understanding, after WW1 Europe was at the brink of losing control of its colonies due to the sheer number of men lost. France and the UK especially lost millions of men, which caused unrest and cries of Independence in colonies. So when WW2 started, these European nations lost even more men, which forced them to release colonies. My question is that would the colonial Empires of Europe still exist if Hitler didn't rise to power or invade Poland?
>>2957309
To be fair, Kaiser Wilhelm is as much to blame for that as Hitler.
>>2957313
Yes he did, but my question is that was Hitler the final nail in the coffin?
>>2957309
Nah. It was written i6n the wall as soon as WWI ended.
Where does American obsession with black people, and radical black politics, come from?
Demographically, they are less than 13% of the population, that's less than gypsies in countries like Romania and Hungary, or Christians in Egypt and Syria. It's a lot, of course, but not really that much, or that relevant.
But if you look at American popular culture and political discourse, you'd think black people are not only numerically equal to the white population, but an absolute majority that is oppressed by a tiny white dominant minority. If something, be it a sports league of a film cast, is not at least 50% black, then it isn't diverse enough. Not to mention that every political movement must pander to black, and it must receive black support in order to be considered non-racist, and therefore legitimate.
How come such a small minority become so powerful?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bO1agIlLlhg
>>2957253
Because blacks in the urban North/West and South in general make up much more population.
Most people don't live in the US's heartland.
>>2957253
Blacks will literally chimp out and destroy major cities if they don't get their way and white people have been brainwashed into believing that fighting back against them is "racism".
>>2957253
it could also be their "cool" factor: blacks have had a big influence on US culture outside of politics during the 20th century, creating jazz, I think blues, and rap. because they're perceived as cool people generally are interested in what they have to say about everything, including politics. having a disproportionate influence on US culture they also get a disproportionate amount of media attention
How did people go-to the bathroom in ancient times? Did they use a kind of toilet paper or maybe some kind of animal first? Did some cultures have a room for it or did they just pop a squat outside? Did they walk around all day with dirty asses or was there something they did to clean themselves? Also tell me about the toilet and who first utilized it.
They had toilets, they just didn't flush, a box with a hole in it, someone has to empty it.
They either used water or probably didn't wipe their ass.
Modern toilets with flushing are young, i think like 160 years rough, middle of the 19th century they start appearing.
The Romans had xylospongium; sponges on sticks. They were used in public latrines.
>>2957224
Romans and Carthaginians both built shitters that had running water. Some were communal for use by everyone, and others were actually in private homes.
Some had piss pots they pissed in and then dumped out in the morning.
Some places had communal shitters that were cleaned out on a regular basis.
Some just had outhouses on their property.
Most castles had shitters built along the wall and peasants would come and clean it up, and some were situated over a moat. There have been leaders killed in their castles while under siege because they took an arrow through the ass while taking a shit because they had intel given to them about what time he usually hit the shitter.
Afghani villagers have a designated shitting area for their village and pretty much piss wherever they want.

Are workaholics hedonists? I mean, they do spend most of their time doing something that brings them joy.
>>2957162
Workin don't give them joy, not working give them pain
>>2957251
This, workaholics just have shitty home lives.
>>2957162
Everybody is a hedonist. Having a will means searching, seeking joy. A will that would seek the opposite would soon destroy itself. Even a suicidal person wants to have joy, but they kill themselves because they think that they would suffer more than having joy in life, they simply seek the lesser evil, pain by killing themselves, as you know most of them want a painless death.
And a workaholic that works himself to death? Those are happier that the work is done than to be alive without pain. Maybe they just believe the delusion that they are happier this way, this depends on the work they are doing. And some workaholics may fear their own thoughts and feelings when they are alone without having something to do, this is neurotic, those seek work to get away from fear or painfull thoughts.
Well?
