In Italy they didn't. Three generation homes were the norm.

In Northern Europe people only married when they moved out of the house to start their own household. They were usually in their mid 20s or even older when this happened.

By this time the women would have had several years to earn money while the husband had completed his apprenticeship and presumably had a paying job.

Because the fastest these armies could move was at the speed of a marching man. Before, it was the speed of a horse, and after it was at the speed of a motor vehicle, but due to advances in infantry small-arms the cavalry –the fast-moving strike element of an army– ceased to be an effective fighting force on the relatively constricted Western Front.

Countries had a greater industrial capacity which allowed them to mass produce things like machine guns, barbed wire, artillery etc. Some of the technology from WW1 existed in the US civil war but there just wasn't as much of it. There were pretty significant improvements in technology as well, the majority of soldiers in the 19th century were still using muskets.

Countries were still becoming less agrarian throughout the entire 19th century as well, by WW1 there was just a lot more people that could be drafted.

the historical uzbeks are not the uzbeks of today. the actual uzbeks were an oghuz-turkic speaking nomadic confederation (the "uz-" in "uzbek" derives from "oghuz"), so their language was related to turkey turkish, azeri and turkmen among others. Soviet authorities used the term "uzbek" to refer to all turkic speakers in the region even though most turkic speakers there were settled Karluk-Turkic speakers whose language derived from Chagatay literary turkic who never called themselves Uzbeks. eventually the soviet terminology stuck though so now the terms are all messed up.

as for your question, iranic peoples mostly. even today a large part of the population of uzbekistan is natively persian speaking (called tajiks today which is also a term reinterpreted by the soviets).
