I just had a discussion with a Catholic over which hominins had souls. He seemed to argue that modern Homo Sapiens are the only ones that have souls, and that art is the best evidence we have of such. I tried to show him the Makapansgat pebble, and the engraved Erectus shell, but he just said "those could be anything, you're just wildly speculating." Also kept using this '20s book, trying to make me see the "errors of modern anthropology." I myself am a Christian, but it seems less likely that modern man was the only one of our lineage with a soul. Any thoughts on how this could've turned out for the better?
Yeah, by realising that 'soul' is a harmful illusion and doesn't exist except in the mind.

I think that Neanderthals and denisovans were also humans with souls. For example If you look at a skull of an aboriginal Australian, it's grotesque like Neanderthal skulls compared to European or Asian skulls. And precolumbian Indians were shorter than Europeans because they had less protein in their diets and because of the traits their group inherited. Yet they still had languages, culture, and all things which make someone human. The same is true for the "Neanderthals" and other hominids because they could procreate with each other and have fertile offspring.

it could have turned worse if you told him 'made of clay' and 'ashes to ashes' means there is no difference betveen any given organism and the dirt it came from, that in that sense there is no 'difference in kind', since minerals, vegetables, animals, machines are all premutations, form-function reconfigurations, of the same shit, that there is nothing visible that is not a manifestation of what is invisible and non-local, which is present within without and beyond all things equaly, erectus or sapiens
or if you told him jesus is quoted saying ''split a piece of wood and I am there, lift a stone and you will find me''
you could of also told him the notion of a soul is the notion of a self and that a self needs to be known and realised or its just a potential
or you could have shown him a monty python sketch on how people arent wearing enough hats

I hate when people compare him to Trump. He was much closer to Bernie Sanders, both in terms of policy and rhetoric.

Fortifications, military campaigns, household guards, luxuries, gifts in exchange for loyalty.
Why didn't history just gravitate towards a one world government and stay there? It seems like the logical conclusion of the concept of government (i.e. consolidation of power over many by few) existing.
Limitations in communication and transportation
Cultural and political barriers
Resistance to tyranny
Etc
>>2992225
Tribalism would never allow it.
>>2992225
The definition of 'the few' is limited by geography, culture, and interpersonal relationships. That and those who are already part of the few in one government are not keen to open the doors to their ranks because it would dilute their influence and control of regional wealth.
So it's not enough for mere gravitation, unity must be imposed, and thus opposed in equal measure.
Why did anti-commie propaganda work in South Korea but not South Vietnam?
The South Korean government was set up by the Japanese, the South Vietnamese government was set up by the French.
The Japanese may not be very nice people, but they do happen to be pretty good at ruthlessly crushing dissent.

Also Diem was a catholic who hated buddhists in a majority buddhist country.
Also he was sort of incompetent.

You ought to learn to do things in measures.
>A killer is trying to kill me
>I don´t fight, because it´s violent.
>No wait i just kill him or i´m dead.
>Not with an atom bomb
>But with a knife.
>Fighting noises
>Killer is dead problem is solved.
>>2992172
Or you can just shoot the killer and not try to risk a knife fight.

The Jews happened. The last hero of humanity was defeated by a coalition of brainwashed jew bootlickers, and thus the future of humanity has been sealed in a kiln of degeneracy and decline.
Antichrist Juden is what happened.
Revelations 20:4-6
4 I saw thrones on which were seated those who had been given authority to judge. And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony about Jesus and because of the word of God. They[a] had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ a thousand years. 5 (The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended.) This is the first resurrection. 6 Blessed and holy are those who share in the first resurrection. The second death has no power over them, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with him for a thousand years.
>implying he didn't always want it to fail
>implying that isn't why he deliberately had the Reich's buildings designed to look good as ruins
>implying his whole reign wasn't him larping as a doomed Wagnerian hero
