If people of the Maghreb, Middle East, and Anatolia had stayed Christian, would the "white race" ever become a thing?
>>3022347
Considering it was invented during the transatlantic slave trade and had nothing to do with Islam, yes
"White race" is an American meme.
>>3022347
Yes it would, people would just think it ends with the Sahara and not the Mediterranean.
Honestly. how the fuck did they think this was a good idea?
Because it was. Alsace-Lorraine was never threatened by an attack from Germany ever again.
>>3022188
It boggles my mind that France didn't bother to annex parts of Netherlands and Belgium in the interwar period in order to strengthen their defences, like the Soviets did with numerous countries.
>>3022188
>The location of the line
Most of the French Border isn't GREAT for attacking; there's the Alps in the south, The Jura and Volges in the North. So it was very, very obvious that any attack against France would come through the low countries. The Maginot line was meant to protect France's greatest vulnerability, the exact same place the Germans came from last time.
>The line itself
The line was meant to be manned by conscripts so that the Standing Army could be freed up to fight an offensive war of maneuver in Belgium and the Netherlands. It was meant to be insurance that would catch the German counteroffensive. This was the plan in 1938 when Gamelin wanted to invade Germany if it threatened Czechoslovakia, and this was the original plan for 1939 before he got spooked the fuck out and wussed out.
>The weak part
Belgium naturally wasn't happy that France was building their impregnable line BEHIND them. It doesn't say an awful lot about how much France valued Belgium as an ally. As a result, the rest of the line was hastily built up, and not nearly in the same quality as the rest of the line.
Everything would've turned out better if the Soviets kept marching and liberated all of Europe. Prove me wrong.
Pro-tip: you can't.

>Lets Eastern Europe vote for the government they want.
>All while they were at gun point.
>Proceed to purge them and Sovietize them against their will.
>Held them at gun point for 70 years and any time they wanted to leave, people got purged.
>Things would be better.

Communism, socialism and marxism doesn't work.
You might want to read "The Black Book of Communism" and "The Gulag Archipelago" for a start.
Why did germany help the bolsheviks during ww1? Seems hypocritical to blame it solely on the jews desu. Pic unrelated

Gee, it's like those Germans did the thing for profit.

Also, he could have been just a tiny bit more grateful towards burgerland for saving his ass during the Suez Crisis.
Why haven't the Balkan states managed to unify and create a stronger nation, and have it remain stable for so long like France, Italy, or Germany?
They share a common-ish history and culture, and have language differences more similar to HochDeutsch and BayernischDeutsch rather than English and France, so why haven't they been able to unify?
The closest time this ever happened was, of course, Yugoslavia, but when Tito died the whole thing broke apart
Why are the Balkans so at each other's throats, /his/?
>>3021507
They did and they failed. A unified Turkestan would make more sense.

>and have language differences more similar to HochDeutsch and BayernischDeutsch rather than English and France

Gee OP, I'm stumped. It has the potential of being such an organic union of states.
Give me one good reason why Marx shouldn't have been assassinated before he wrote anything.
>>3021423
There´s not.
>>3021423
Because killing a man because you can't debate his ideas, especially before he formulated those ideas, is pathetic.
Marxism isn't that hard to debate and debunk.
>>3021447
I would like if you give me an example. Please.

Why exactly did the Achaemenids fare poorly against the Greeks?
>>3021258
Lack of morale that accompanies forcing peasants from bumfuck nowhere to fight for a cause they believe in. The Greeks were fighting for independence, the achaemenid conscripts fought because a rich guy told them to.
Oh and infantry tactics favored the heavily armored Greeks in their own terrain.
>>3021274
Actually it had to do with poor planning and light infantry against heavy infantry with better deployments.
A persian shield couldn't withstand a hoplite spear. That's a problem.
>>3021258
Greeks have a unified, professionally trained soldiers, Achaemenids have large army from vassals throughout the empire which was rather segregated and disunited, some are never really loyal in the first place

Historically speaking, how prevalent was transgenderism in the past? Is it just a recent phenomenon or did it also exist in early civilizations? And if it did exist, was it as a fetish?
well today it's still about 0.6% of the US population so whatever it was its probably so small you could consider it a rounding error.

Could Czechoslovakia in 1938 take on Nazi Germany?
Would the country be worth preserving and is it possible to keep all the ethnicities under one banner?
>>3020969
Alone ? No, but if France grew some balls and told the UK to go fuck itself, they might have a chance together, a big chance actually... The Sudetenland were heavily fortified and Czechoslovakia was ready for war.
>>3020969
That was never the plan, Czechoslovakia was never an independent country, it was a complete Anglo puppet and Benes was an agent of London. Once London decided they're not fighting Hitler, Benes refused to enter a war as well and ran off to London.
>>3021025
>Czechoslovakia was ready for war
this, they just didn't stand a chance alone in invasion of Germany

You can tell that an action is generally correct if DYEL faggots cry about it.
Such actions include winning the Cold War, defeating Nazi Germany, entering WW1 on the side of the entente, capital punishment, and abortion.
