Wasted digits on something that's strictly speaking not history according to this boards rules. (And basically the generally rule of thumb). Learn some patience and ask again in November or at least do your own research and present more than just a fucking 4 word post.

Holy ancient meme
An idealist whose rose-colored glasses have been removed, snapped in two and stomped into the ground, immediately improving his vision.
>Normie statement: Authority figures and the Government only tell you what to do because they want to help.
Cynic's response: They tell you what to do and how to do it because they, like everyones eles, want power and control.
>Normie statement: Have fun being homeless.
Cynic's response: have fun with your arthritis, no self esteem and butchering others for your nation.
topic is about Cynics

Was Pakistan the dumbest thing ever? I mean, Moslems still live in India. It's not like it got rid of them, and you lost clay
>>3040946
It was truly stupid. Gandhi wasn't the brighest bulb.
That all being said if Pakistan tried to prove their superiority to India through actual accomplishments in economic, academic, and human development they would've btfo India harder than winning any sort of war. They wouldn't even need to stress the religious part they could point to it being self-evident. They started out with great fucking potential but they pissed that all away.
Jinnah would be fucking ashamed at the state of his country now. Once he died the only people left fucking hated each other and drove Pakistan into the ground.

Austro-Hungarian Empire 2.0 when?
1-Alif, Lam, Meem.
2-The Romans have been defeated
3-In the nearest land. But they, after their defeat, will overcome.
4-Within three to nine years. To Allah belongs the command before and after. And that day the believers will rejoice
5-In the victory of Allah . He gives victory to whom He wills, and He is the Exalted in Might, the Merciful.
6-[It is] the promise of Allah . Allah does not fail in His promise, but most of the people do not know.
This surah was revealed in 615, Romans started to win in 622

They weren't politically unified, it was more of a Mesopotamia situation.
There were cultures in the islands that were doing their own shit. As far as we can tell, the Arawak were the new world equivalent of the Phoenicians.

they feared the black warrior
why did he do it? he completely opposed slavery and the dissolution of the union, and yet he fought to perpetuate both because "muh Virginia". it doesn't seem to make any sense.
>not fighting for the state that your ancestors have served for hundreds of years
The union wasn't even 80 years old while Virginia had existed as a political entity for over 200 years.
>>3040106
he would have known fully that the war was about more than just Virginia though, right? I understand his family's history and all that but the cause of the Confederacy involved a great deal more than the sovereignty of Virginia, things that were arguably more important and that he personally could not justify fighting for. wouldn't that have bugged him all those 4 years?
I'm not a neo-Confederate or Lost Causer by any means but this was an understandable decision at the time. The United States was still viewed by many, especially Southerners, as a confederation of sovereign states rather than as a singular nation-state, and this attitude only died with the Civil War.
How did they come to dominate all of Western Christendom? Who was really the first Bishop of Rome?
Probably Peter, since Paul talks about him
>>3039894
The Catholic church has its roots in a pagan cult called Mithra. The church started with men and families who were left over from Senatorial positions in the declining Roman Empire - they were not christian but took on that guise to keep power and position. They never gave up their 'eternal' Rome aspirations keeping the grubby culture of the church very male and militaristic (hence the crusades).
>>3039918
>since Paul talks about him
and Paul places him in Jerusalem, not Rome. riddle me this: at the time that Paul was writing, Peter was one of the leaders of the early christian community in Jerusalem. Paul writes to a christian community in Rome. how could Peter be the first bishop of Rome when the christian community existed before Peter lived in Rome?
What if the Vikings in America lasted just a little bit longer?

The Viking Kingdoms Of Ferskvann Sjoen
1000 A.D. - the Viking colonists and some visiting traders at the L'Anse aux Meadows
settlement in Newfoundland, eat some bad mushrooms and collectively hallucinate Odin
ordering them to leave the island and move inland to the "Ferskvann Sjoen" [1] and the
entire settlement [2] packs up all their stuff and sails up the St.Lawrence River.
When Viking traders from Greenland arrive some months later, they find the settlement
abandoned and figure the Skrælings killed everybody and never return to N.America
as per the original timeline.
Meanwhile, the Vikings from L'Anse aux Meadows make their way up the St.Lawrence River,
thru Lake Ontario, portaging the Niagara Falls and thru Lake Erie, up past OTL Detroit
and thru Lake Huron to settle on Mackinaw Island and by the grace of the Gods, [3] all
off them survive and a new settlement is begun on the island.
While the Vikings are initially wary of the Skrælings and vice versa, they manage
to avoid any serious conflicts and inevitably, Viking men take Indian brides and the
settlement soon has enough people to maintain an effective population size.
As the years go by, the Vikings eventually expand, [4] forming new settlements along
the shores of OTL Michigan, Ontario and Wisconsin, using their ships and boats on
the lakes and rivers to maintain contact and trade.
Fast-forward to October 2, 1535 A.D. - On his 2nd voyage to the New World, Jacques
Cartier lands at the Iroquois settlement of Hochelaga (OLT Montreal) and is shocked
discover several Viking traders there.
Is is true that Islam has stayed the same for centuries and that "politically correct Islam" is just a distortion?
Wahabism is a relatively recent ideology and that tends to be the one people bitch about for muh terrorists.
So you could say it's getting worse, but it certainly hasn't 'stayed the same'.
Swedes have managed to make it LGBT tolerant
