Who is the most badass homosexual dude of History ?

For me it is clearly Philippe "Buttfucker" the Second "Augustus". Not only did he fuck Richard Coeur de Lion (Literally and metaphorically), but he proved his worth in the Crusades, won a huge siege battle in Normandy, conquered (Or rather, liberated) half of France, but he has beaten up the Holy Roman Emperor and his flemish militias in melee and basically created the modern french state by somewhat-abolishing the feudal system, instead replacing it with the Royal Absolutism.

>>
>Not only did he fuck Richard Coeur de Lion (Literally and metaphorically)

No he didn't, stop with that shitty meme. This is based on the fact that they spent a night in the same bed once. Except in the Middle Ages this was just a sign of friendship and familiarity since members of the same family typically all slept in one large bed, certainly not of homosex which would make absolutely no sense for such a public political statement.

Nearly every HNIC before the 19th century was fond of buttfucking 12-18 year old boys.

Leonardo Da Vinci, Michelangelo, Socrates, etc the list goes on...

Pederasty was Real Nigga Shit, it's a shame it's so taboo nowadays. However, on 4chan where everyone is anonymous, you realize just how many people are into "traps" and "boypussy"

>yfw you might live to see pederasty resurgence.

Seems to me it was successful only because it allowed industrialists to effectively double the size of the working force, enabling wages to be driven down.

Rather than having anything at all to do with civil rights.

By the 14tg Century the byzantine Empire spoke a different language, had different culture, different political structure and military technology and organization to the pre-split Roman Empire. It was a completely different, considerably smaller empire

Between 1788 and 1815 NSW operated as a Tory spoils system with land being generously given to a squatocratic elite who wished to implement some kind of pre-1688 parish system of CoE feudalism. This was broken by a combination of aboriginal resistance, Home rule administration, navy meritocracy, and convict labour resistance. Significant here is import substitution production causing a small urban elite allied with the meritocracy and administration to turn on the squatocracy.

This then reconfigured into an agricultural capitalism based on land theft, export production, and urban import substitution production under British bureaucratic control.

The actual convict labour system worked on this basis:

The formal employer was the state, which retained the right to discipline, muster and church convicts. The state fed and clothed convicts and then sent them out to employers.
The immediate employer could get work, and in some cases illegally chastise (as in physically beat) convicts, but was generally prosecuted for such illegal beatings.
Convicts themselves resisted employment through informal go-slows, Irish "escape" revolts, and the Irish underground network of communication.
This led immediate employers to offer wages in addition to food and clothes, in money form, to get decent work out of convicts.

Part way through their sentences many convicts were given tickets of leave to act as free men and work for wages. This is because they performed better work.

The entire system was like it was due to labour shortage. There were some really appalling efforts to import female labour for domestic servants, marriage and "factory" meaning a concentrated handicraft production. These broke down because of female convict resistance and orphan importation was substituted to bring in females.

Why is the story of Julius Caeser so much more well known than that of Augustus? What did Caeser have that Octavian didn't to have his legend perpetuated so?

Talent as a writer. His Commentarii made him immortal.
>>
Augustus had the benefit of riding on Julius' laurels (though was certainly plenty accomplished himself) while Caesar was born to a pretty humble clan of patricians. His rise was a lot more meteoric, and invokes very colorful imagery. The beloved general, the cunning barbarians, the hubris of rule, and finally, the betrayal by friends for freedom. Augustus ruled very peacefully after Antony was finished and 'hurried slowly', creating something great albeit quietly. I'd say he was more than Julius was, but Julius was the one who taught him.

Marshal Michel Ney, to his firing squad (he had refused the blindfold).
>"Soldiers, when I give the command to fire, fire straight at my heart. Wait for the order. It will be my last to you. I protest against my condemnation. I have fought a hundred battles for France, and not one against her ... Soldiers, fire!"
