I've been having a really long mortality crisis and it sucks because as an atheist I don't believe in an afterlife but as a non-popsci fag I don't think we'll be immortal cyborg gods before I die either. I've been looking into Epicureanism but the concept of nonexistence of the self isn't really comprehensible and it makes me have panic attacks all day.

In any case how do I change my outlook or beleive in a religion? I know Buddhists want to die and stay dead. I've met religious people young and old and don't see how they can be so unwavering in their faith, and the various religions of the adherents make it hard to accept one or the other as truth.

I'm looking to buy prints of historical propaganda online, does anyone know of anywhere where I could do this?

Specifically I wanted to buy some White propaganda from the Russian Civil War like pic rel, but I understand that this is rare and unlikely to be found as something that can be easily purchased, so any kind of old propaganda stuff is fine.

I just moved into a new apartment and wanted to make my room look interesting with some autistic history related shit.

Is there any evidence; memoirs, personal accounts, etc, of SS soldiers working with underground resistances within the Concentration Camps? Or that helped people escape from the camps?

I feel like I remember reading a book that mentioned this in high school.. But I can't remember exactly.

Do you think the reason we are so drawn to fantasy literature, films, and games is directly linked to the same reason most of us are religious? (by "we" and "us" I just mean humanity) We have something in us that craves something deeper and more mystical underlying the universe than what actually might exist?
