If everyone relies on sola scrptura, how do you accord the meanings and correspondent rites of Christianity? It seems to me that without the mediation of the Church everyone would simply make their own worldview based on their own interpretation.

Why exactly didn't Austria take Balkan and Constantinople over after Ottomans?
I know Russians were against it, but if it happened, it would perfectly even out the balance of power in the region imo, so why didn't other nations support Austria here? It seems hard to believe that they thought the sick man of Europe could get too strong, or that Austrian byrocreaucy couldn't manage all that land.
Plus Constantinople was an important city spiritually for the Christian people.
So why didn't it happen?

In 19th century they occupied Bosnia and competed with Russia over influence in Serbia. So they got their share from Ottoman weakening.
Once Ottoman threat diminished and they were reduced to 3rd grade power there was no reason for Austria to remove it completely. Like Britain, they preferred Ottoman Empire to be in one piece because it served as a barriere to Russian influence in the Balkans, something Austria feared more than Turks.
Constantinople is a meme city, and was too far away and useless. The only question was not letting Russians to capture it.

But Austria itself could've been the barrier. They had alliance with Germany, if they'd taken whole Balkans, they would be strong enough to compete with Russia.

Ok, it is composed some centuries after the Mycenean age I get it, but still, not one, nto even a faint, mythical memories?
Hittites are frequent and direct contacts with Myceneans, they went to want to war against them, they exhanged letters, Myceneans even invaded Cyprus, which was under Hittite control at the time, and the Hittites even wrote about that event!
Myceneans had colonies in West Anatolia, bordering Hittite territories, and Mycenean greek even aided West anatolian city states in their rebellion against the Hittites according to Hittite accounts, the Hittite king called the Achean king "his brother" in Hittite records for fuck's sake!

All I know is existentialism made its way into Japan in 1980s and it was trendy for a while to use it to describe social phenomenons and that's it. For example. Does riding a bike instead of a car benefit the environment at all? Unless most people changed their habits that would only cause gasoline prices to drop and those who continue riding a car would ride them for more distance so carbon emissions would stay the same.
