What does /his/ think of Epic Rap Battles of History?

I always thought they were yet another pleb mindless entertainment Youtube series, and I was right. But they honestly do a pretty good job of representing the historical figures, and the production values are pretty decent as well.

Also, the Eastern vs. Western Philosophers is pretty fucking awesome.

Why are we told that the nazis executed people for being disabled?

Are we meant to believe that Hitler killed cripples from WW1 and even soldiers who were injured during WW2?
21 posts and 3 images submitted.
>>
Who told you that?

For some reason, whenever discussion of the Nazis comes about, there are a lot of allegations that "they" make a lot of outrageous and flagrantly untrue claims, and lots of anons blindly agree to this without ever actually questioning who "they" are and if "they" even actually said it.

Not to mention that "they" often end up being a lone kook whose words are taken to represent an entire viewpoint (e.g. "The Holocaust was a lie because some random Jewish guy claimed he saw lions and oven roller-coasters in the camps")

Just some observations.
>>
>>591213
I think you're equivocating "disabled". They certainly meant different disabilities.

>LMAO CHRISTTARDS BTFO HAHAHAHAH LE DESERT MYTH LE FAIRY TALES SO TRUEEEE

>The gassing of 12 million didnt happen, sadly, there was a bunch of innocents killed in firing squads however. Of course the holocaust happened, just not on the scale as the common person believes.

You rely too much on strawmen, and get them confused sometimes.
>>
Over a hundred thousand were gassed but not all. 6 million is the grand total.
>>
>>591142
>>>/pol/
Ok, do you have any evidence for those two statements?

And seriously why? Because 1. most people are religious and Christianity is the most popular religion.

2. The holocaust did kill between 3-6 million people. The low-end is between 3-4, the high end is 5-6. Different people have different estimates. Most seem to gravitate to 5 million.

3. This type of rhetoric is commonly used by /pol/ and its rational to not want that type of environment to take over here, as it has in several other boards.

Would Portugal have become a minor power if the April revolution never happened? They had the situation in Angola and Mozambique sort of under control, the only scenario where they were truly losing was the Guinea.

How would they be faring if they had managed to retain the important colonies?

Italy was bad at war in the late 19th to 20th centuries. Honestly, Italians themselves weren't bad at war per se, they were just in a slump. This is what faggots on the internet don't get, nations, civilizations, individuals all experience slump periods. This happened to be Italy's period to suck dick.
>>
>>591005
He's talking about performance. No matter what, Italians were just too incompotent to make significant strides on their own. It's ironic now that their military today is very powerful.

I remember hearing the amazing stories from my anthropology profs about how Milton Friedman flew over Chile in a jet bought for him by Ronald Reagan, parachuted into the capital, and raged hard throughout the city, indiscriminately snapping the necks of every Chilean woman and child to cross his path of mayhem. Friedman's evil rampage prevented the nascent communist grassroots movement, which was almost as popular with the Chilean people as it was with American humanities professors, from reaching fruition. This was a tragedy of epic proportions because the command and control economy was about to usher in a new golden age of economic and sociopolitical utopia. While Friedman was finishing ripping the beating hearts out of the chests of old women and eating them as he quoted passages from Free to Choose, the Chilean people learned to never question the capitalist overlords from Chicago. Legends of the shock doctrine, the massacre of the innocents at the hands of Friedman, spread throughout Latin America to American campuses. When news of the story broke among sociology and gender studies departments there was a collective wail of morning and gnashing of teeth. The critical literary theorists had been unrelenting in their support of the burgeoning Soviet Union at the turn of the century, and they saw what wonders it had worked firsthand for the people of Russia. They felt that they had failed their Chilean brothers. Friedman eventually returned to Chicago from Chile, to return to his Hyde Park throne which was a living chair made from the bodies of welfare recipients, whom were forced to bear their weight of the Libertarian death machine day and night lest their families face the libertarian wrath that had been unleashed in Chile. Now Friedman is lionized by a coalition of Neo nazis, Jewish industrialists, and the religious right, to continue to keep our poor brothers and sisters downtrodden and controlled. Friedman can never die. He is always watching.

And waiting.

In every depiction of society from the middle ages and Renaissance the first thing you notice is colorful clothes, banners, ornaments, architecture and all that. Then sometimes around the 19th century it all seems to be painted in different shades of grey and black; clothes are dark, buildings are minimalist and functional, etc. How did this happen? Is the industrial revolution responsible for it? Capitalism? Nationalism? Simple change in taste? Why is modernity so dark and monochromatic bros?

I would say it is earlier than the 19th Century and probably has to do with the Reformation and the austere aesthestics of Calvinists and Lutherans and such like.

Could we talk about history of Japan a bit?

Could someone explain the samurai thing to me in detail. So basically, the warrior caste became bureaucrats, and during that time the whole bushido and honor became a thing because they swung only for practice and needed to justify their existence?

Another question about a later time:
In the late 18th century, so there all these super-patriots who had different views on how to conquer everything. Is this sort of factionalism where the really dysfunctional relationship between the Imperial Japanese Navy and the Ground forces comes from?

..other than that, let's discuss the history and military history of japan.

>Is this sort of factionalism where the really dysfunctional relationship between the Imperial Japanese Navy and the Ground forces comes from?

No, that developed later, in the late 19th/early 20th Century. If we're talking about the massive difference in capability between the IJN and IJA during WWII, that arose mostly out of logistical politicking. The IJN wanted all the best resources in order to counter the quantitative advantage the US Navy held, because the IJN's strategic mission leading up to WWII was specifically to beat the USN.

Theyre reactionary fuckbois towards whatever strong nation is supporting them because the population soon realizes that their culture is comparatively inferior and they embrace change.

Poverty, lack of education, environmental degredation, drugs, corruption.

Shoshone have water babies and gremlins, which are sketchy as fuck when out in the desert at night.

You have to love whatever your local tribe thought of because so often it is so specific to the area you live in. Makes it more interesting.

Oh look, somebody calling religion out.

When are we starting to call out atheists?

For starters they were talking some shit about sum bosom of sum Higgs proving there was no God.

And no matter how hard you read on physics the fucking boson is only good to explain that there is a field present in the particles that have matter.

It doesn't prove or disprove shit -apart from this field-.

So yeah, how come we are letting atheists go unpunished after this bullshit?
