After studying Germany in WW2 for some time I have come to some conclusions.
1. Germany during WW2 is massively overrated, in actual fact they were quite technologically undeveloped, their tactics were outdated, and by halfway through the war they were extremely lacking in industrial might.
2. Germany during ww2 is underrated, because they are overrated. Because they're overrated as as superpower with advanced technology and equal might, it downplays the fact that they actually did exceedingly well and held on for a long time despite their completely inferior logistics, supplies, industry and strategy.
In a sense, they were a third rate power who punched well above their weight and held on for a long time, but allied victory was inevitable, not the prevailing view that they were a 1st rate power who lost simply due to inferior numbers and bombing. D-Day is when this was most clearly exposed.

Can anyone give me a quick rundown on Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP)? From what little i know about it it's supposed to be a psychological mechanism that allows people to completely control all aspects of their behavior at any time, their reactions, words. thinking process,basically to program their brain to act in a certain way. Apparently politicians and celebrities use it to stay focused when giving speeches and such.
It seems like a more sophisticated brainwashing method. Also there are claims that it is un-scientifical.

I've been thinking about this for some time now. It's a question that is mainly theological, so I figured the best place to ask it is here.
If God is all knowing, that means he knows everything that will in the universe, including events that us humans have not experienced yet (the future). Therefore, God knows who will be saved and who will be damned. One cannot know of something that does not exist. Therefore, if God knows of the result of our life on Earth, our life must have been already determined, and we ultimately do not choose what we do. Free will is an illusion, and the universe is deterministic.
This assumes God knows of all things, future, past, and present. If God does not know the future, then free will is possible, but then God is not all seeing. Is my argument logical and is there anything I can read that is related to this topic?
