It works like this. saying sodomy is bad could lead to gay marriage which is bad is a mistake, because it artificially conflates the two positions. Just because you dont care if gays have sex does not mean you support gay marriage. Unless you can show that one directly leads to the other, its a fallacy

What is she doing? She looks like she's studying. Why? Does she do it just because she enjoys it more than just laying on the floor making no action? I don't think so. Laying on the floor isn't fun, so she must do actions which don't feel as bad. But she doesn't look like she's enjoying herself studying. Why is she doing it? Because if she doesn't study, then she wont pass her course exam, and if she doesn't pass that, she will have to drop out, and then she will have no money ebcause she can't get a job to sell her labour for. And without money she can't buy food clothes and water from the supermarket, and without those she will die an agonizing death.

Life really has no positive value. If it did have value, then making no action would still feel pleasurable. But it doesn't.If you don't believe me why don't just lie down right now where you are and don't move at all. Pretty soon you will start feeling aching muscles, or you'll get thirsty or hungry, or you'll start feeling bored and non stimulated. And if you don't do anything and continue laying there, your suffering will only increase and increase and increase, and again this isn't some hypothetical thing, this is what will literally happen, your body will start getting extremely dehydrated your lips and mouth will crack you'll be in a horrible delrious state and eventualy lapse into unconsciousness and die.

That just shows me how bad life is. That you can't even just exist without very quickly (within 72 freaking hours - not long) dying. And long before that you will start feeling extreme amounts of suffering. Almost from the moment you stop making any actions, you will suffering. Aches or uncomfortableness, or anxiety or boredom, and then hunger and thirst and exposure to the elements and then coma and death

People say "the good outweighs the bad". and my response is "what good"?

What is good in this life? All we do is struggle to hold off all manner of suffering. And for what? Only for one day our body will fail us and the suffering will attack and swarm our body until we die.

What is enjoyable in this life? Watching movies and listening to music, are they reall enjoyable? I propose that what they actually do is take your awareness away from yourself existing in this world. You watch a movie and your mind is taken away into what's being presented.

Is that really pleasure?

It's like an orgasm as well. Does it really feel good? Or does it take your mind off your existence, so for a few seconds at most you are unaware of being a body in the world, and only just feel the pure sensation, and then you come back to the cold hard reality.

that's not true pleasure. That I would call escapism. it only feels good because it's a relief

if life was so great we'd hate to sleep. every night we'd lament having to sleep because we'd miss out on being awake. But hardly anyone hates sleep. What is sleep really? It's where you lie down and make no action at all. And you stop experiencing life.

We say "good nights sleep". But that just shows that life is not good. If life was good we'd hate sleep, we'd curse every night that we have to be deprived of existence. But we don't. We like making no action and then going unconscious. We dread having to wake up and get out of bed the next morning.

Think about it, when you wake up are you so happy to be alive? Or do you just tiredly get out of bed, eat some breakfast have some coffee, bush your teeth have a shower and then go to freaking work.
