What makes a person good?
Why?
I have come to think that one of the elements of being a good person is doing good things, as in helpin others, not doing wrong things such as breaking the law or hurting others in legal ways, etc. This conclusion comes from the premises of:
1) good things are good
2) people enjoy good things
3) the more people enjoy good things, more good there will be
What other elements can be logically traced into the goodness of a person?
More importantly...
If a person is by default, bad. And that person hates herself for that, therefore deciding to deliberately become a better person in their own selfish interest to feel better about themselves, and does indeed become a better person, wouldn't that make the person even worse? After all, what this person does is good - but its selfish, escapist intentions are bad.
Would that be a bad good? Or should I say, a good bad?
Don't mind the hottie, I just need attention in this thread.

What happened to the german POW held in the Soviet Union after they were released? Were they allowed to go back to the other side of Berlin or Germany if their families were there?
It would be very fucking sad to be finally freed only to discover you can go back home.

It's never "the people". In France it was violent mobs concentrated mostly in Paris while the rest of the country didn't give a fuck. In America likewise, a handful of population was loyalist, a handful was secessionist, and the absolute majority of people just didn't care.

Keep in mind we're humanists and all and care about the well being of the many. So, I would suggest to :
1. Keep corruption under tight control. This is the biggest flaw compared to democracy where the ranks can be more easily kept fresh.
2. Make the economy work, because people tend to be less noisy with a full belly. Hitler was supported by the majority of germans because he gave them work and money to buy food after all, and we can see how much of a success the USSR was with no toilet paper to wipe yourself and empty shops.
3. Use propaganda. You don't want to get kicked because you know better than anyone else how to rule the country so you have to shit on democracy once in a while to remind the people how much they owe you.
I have a hard time about repression though. How would you treat dissidents without turning your country in a Pinochet Chile shithole tier. Training your dogs to rape the opposant's wives is fun and all but it's completely unnecessary. Is exile or prison sufficient ?
Would that work in the light of history and precedent regimes ? How far could the country run ? What are the biggest problems ? Is fascist corporation a good economical system ?
