I was thinking, even if pronoun use are made official by goverment, wouldn't it be bureaucratic nightmare to implement it?

They never were in Egypt. They are native Canaanites.
>>
>people still believe in jewish lies about them being slaves in egypt
>when none of the egyptian sources mention them keeping a large amount of hebrew slaves
>nor have there were been found any archeological evidence that points towards there ever been a large population of jews living in the ancient egypt
>not to mention that if the numbers mentioned in the book of exodus are correct egypt would had lost most of its population, which once again is a thing that there is no evidence of

Judaism wasn't a thing till around ~500 BCE. And as far as I know neither the old or new Egyptian kingdoms mention a large Jewish/Hebrew slave population.

All Grant did was playing the numbers game and keep driving Lee south. It doesn't take a genius to realize that the North had more men and resources than the South.

But what do I know, my ancestors were still in Dutch East Indies back then.

I was browsing /his/ when I just found out being into history for WW2 is a meme and a normie interest. This makes me sad since it comprises 75% of my interest in history.

What do I do now? I'm about to finish up my Senior year of history in my undergraduate school. What should I be reading? What should I look for instead? I was thinking Meiji Restoration-era Japan, but I don't want to be a weeb either.

You're a normie. Stop worrying about what other /his/ people think and just enjoy life.

>WW2 is a meme and a normie interest
Only because most people get their knowledge of it from movies, vidya, and facebook memes.
If you delve into the plethora of academic works done on WW2, it's no different to serious study of any other period like the bronze age collapse or Mesoamerican history unless you like obscure shit for the sake of obscurity.

Organize the economy by the different sectors/interest groups in a top down hierarchy that works side-by-side with the government

Wasn't syndicalism that labour unions take over businesses? And corporatism is just private businesses working very closely with the government, like USA of today.

Has the rise of the internet, for the most part, caused culture to plateau?
7 posts and 2 images submitted.
>>
No, its caused culture to multiply exponentially. The only reason "culture" seems so dead right now is because the internet and mass media make sure that nothing truly notable rises to the top. Subcultures upon subcultures. The la li lu le lo are behind it all.

>has the rise of (insert literally anything here) caused culture to plateau?
The answer will always be no, it's just your perspective. Non-Americans aren't always obsessing about their culture because it's just a normal part of their lives, it's not something special. America has a culture and it's the dominant one on a global scale (most countries share certain aspects of it) so of course you're not gonna recognize it. You snap your fingers "oh, tea=britain" but it's not that simple for us
>>
MNo, it has completely accelerated and therefore destroyed the creative process. It does this by denying new creative artistic outlets the time they need to develop and gestate before blowing up from shitty newcomers rushing in to a new genre and therefore shitting it up See vaporwave, dubstep, or anything remotely new in the internet age.

Germany failed to close the deal several times - even without Italy. And Italy's primary motivation was pure egotism. They made their point clear when they proclaimed neutrality early on instead of making excuses for not living up to the treaty. They even made it clear they wanted Austrohungarian concessions for fighting on their side during their bargaining. Imagine that; having an "ally" demand parts of your nation for fighting on your side. They had clear objectives for joining the war and the Entente offered the better deal. The only way they would join the CP would be when the CP would be already victorious in all but name, but as I mentioned earlier; Germany failed to capitalize on their own momentum.

And America joining the war was the last nail in the coffin by that point. A foregone conclusion but it helped end the war more quickly (thankfully)

Were the Founding Fathers ahead of their time, or is that just bullshit that the schooling system teaches us Americans? I personally think they were way up there in some crucial areas but about up to speed in most.

malthusian marxist actually
>>
>>3379608
Neither, Marx was wrong about virtually everything and his ideas have failed miserably and Malthus didn't seem to account for human ingenuity

What are good, as-unbiased-as-possible books about socialism or Marxism? I met a socialist soon-to-be lawyer and she was unimpressed that I have not read a book about it. I am averse to it but I want to round my opinion. I know there is a lot of philosophy and its history with it so any books which keep this in mind are more wanted.

Basically any book about socialism and/or Marxism that is a good balance between concise yet all-inclusive is what I'm looking for.

Non-American here.

I want to learn more about American history, specially about the 18th and 19th centuries.

What are some recommended books? It doesn't matter if the books are ideological, it would also be nice to see how the left or the right construct their narratives about the country.

"John Adams" by David McCullough focuses on a guy in the driver's seat for the events leading to the Revolution and formation of the government.

"A People's History of the United States" by Howard Zinn is pretty broad in scope, but covers those centuries. It is a very angry, Marxist interpretation of events.

"The Civil War" by Shelby Foote is a 3-volume set and somewhat sympathetic take on the events, while acknowledging the South never stood a chance.
"Battle Cry of Freedom" by James McPherson if you don't want to read 3 books.

"Killing Lincoln" by Bill O'Reilly will be ridiculous and right-wing if that's the main criteria you're looking for.
