Absolutely. Purged Jews from the USSR, industrialized Russia, and kicked Hitler's shit in.

>Genesis 6:4
>There were giants on the earth in those days, and also afterward, when the sons of God came in to the daughters of men and they bore children to them. Those were the mighty men who were of old, men of renown.
What did he mean by this?
>>1165366
It's pretty clear what it means. It also explains why so many cultures have myths about giants.

When did propaganda become a thing?
Also just post cool propaganda
It's always been a thing anon.
"they're not like us" helps your warrior tribe in several ways. It dehumanizes your opponents so you can do horrible shit to them, and it makes your own feel less guilty about the horrible shit they're doing. At least for awhile.
Propaganda has likely literally been around since we crawled out of the ooze to fight with each other for resources.
The Golden Age of propaganda was WWI+II tho.

Can someone explain to me the origins of English/Irish animosity? What led the English to oppress and the Irish to resist, for so long? The Scotts and Welsh nationalities succumbed quickly to the Crown, and both have more in common with the Gaelic people than the Anglos. Why did the Irish resist being British even as it benefited her neighbors so much more?
Celtic culture vs. Norman and Germanic culture.
Scotland and Wales are physically closer and were thus easier to subjugate.
Catholicism vs. Protestantism.
>>1165293
Well the first thing to remember - which nobody ever does - is that the first Anglo-Norman expedition was INVITED into Leinster to help the king there, and Strongbow was married into the king's family and promised the inheritance of the Kingdom of Leinster in return for his military aid.
Secondly, the 'oppression' as such did not really begin until the rise of Protestantism - for 1169 until the 1500s, Ireland was essentially an autonomous marcher province of the English kingdom.
Finally, things only really went downhill after the Act of Union of 1801 deprived the 'Kingdom of Ireland' of its own Parliament and House of Lords. Before that date, and for many years afterwards, it had been and remained an enthusiastic participant in the British empire. The part of Irish imperialists in the empire is slowly being recognised, as the part of Scottish and Welsh imperialists long have.
Tl:dr, the history of Anglo-Irish relations is far, far more complicated than usually thought, and the stereotype of the British oppression of the restive Irish is in many ways wrong-headed. Mistakes were made on both sides, and the Famine was deplorable. But episodes like that tended to be the exception not the rule - else an 800 year association would be very difficult to explain.

Irish Rebellion of 1798 happend before the Act of Union y'know
Was facism/communism emergence in non Western societies a European invention? What forms emerged distinct from obvious Soviet/Chinese communist and Nazi/Franco/Italian facist influence?
This is what Britain will look like if Al gore doesnt win
>>1165206
Communism and Fascism are at heart, European ideologies that were born out of the conditions in Europe in the late 19th early 20th centuries. Everyone who imitated it overseas was going off the European blueprints. Ho
Chi Min even became a Communist while studying electrical engineering in Paris.

Why are there so many Communist/Socialist apologists on this board, and why does it seem that a disproportionate number of them are Irish.

Because most people on /his/ are jobless, or wage enslaved, fucks from moderately well off backgrounds, like Marx.
Essentially, they're mad that they're not casually wealthy, and can only afford moderately priced luxuries, confusing moderate wealth with poverty.
As for youth as a whole, the Universities they go to for their basket weaving degrees are expensive, and they have to work shitty jobs to repay massive loans.
They think Socialism means taking from the rich people and getting super awesome stuff all the time, instead of shit tier NHS, at best, Socialism, and Commieblocks and Beet rations at worst, communism.
Basically, it's because of entitlement

How did they go from East Aryans to WE WUZ QINGZ N SHET mudblood Han-Man mongrels?
>>1164587
Is it true that mothers used to suck on their baby boys penises and fathers did the same to daughters as a way of being playful with them?

>How did they go from East Aryans
When was that? Genuinely interested, I'm ignorant on pre-qing manchu history.
>ugly clothing
>shitty writing system
>only won against the Ming Dynasty because some corrupt dudes let them in through the Great Wall
>literal horsefucking nomads trying to manage a huge complex civilization that was far more technologically advanced
>so ashamed of their clothing and queue hair that they forced everyone else to adopt them so they wouldn't look as shitty in comparison
>so arrogant that they considered the Europeans barbarians despite being actual barbarians
>got rekt by Europeans and allowed them to establish a power base in China forcing Japan to eventually go to war with the West
>cucked the Chinese so hard they lost their culture (this is actually a positive one for how funny it is)
They were never "East Aryans", they were just some nomad horseniggers who got lucky.
The Greeks, long since united under Rome, fought for self governance from the Turks.
Why did the Italians, long since united by the Romans, and more importantly the Romans/Latins not fight for reestablishing the Roman identity? Why not Italy as a whole?
Was Rome really just a "pope" city?
>>1164441
Maybe because Italy did not become completely irrelevant after the fall of Rome and had more to it than muh heritage.
>>1164441
Well, Italy was part of the HRE
>>1164441
The greeks had a monolithic and alien entity ruling over them, the italians ruled themselves, or at worst were part of HRE

Is there any expert in art history who can explain to me why people didn't learn how to draw until the late middle ages? We have all these examples of great sculptures and architecture from antiquity but there aren't any great illustrations & paintings.
>>1164106
Creating the appearance of depth on a flat surface required specialized materials and techniques. It's a lot easier, as it turns out, to create a three-dimensional look on something which exists in three dimensions.

I think history will take a generally neutral view of him.
Can someone please explain his man's popularity other than the macho Scarface rise and fall story?
>appoints Joseph Fouché as head of secret police, even though the guy is a murderous psychopath
>executes the Duke d'Enghien on barely any evidence, enraging the monarchs of Europe who might have tolerated him otherwise
>reinstitutes slavery when all the our nations are doing away with it, and even the Pope is vocally against it
>treats the Pope like garbage for no other reason that he likes to be a jerk
>Pope in return asks for Napoleon's life to be spared after his capture, and helps his mother
>precipitates the rise of nationalism outside of France
>invades Russia for no reason other than Poland, because he's banging Countess Marie Walewska (who said it was horrible and only did it to get him to side with Poland)
>loses many of his strategic plans (Egypt, Spain, Russia, Continental System)
>his greatest win, Austerlitz, is not a battle he could possibly have lost, he had far, far superior organization and equipment to his adversaries
>for same random reason, loves Islam even though he doesn't know anything about it and is just being an Orientalist
What gives?

Is there a single logical reason to not kill yourself?
As far as I can tell the most compelling argument is it would make your loved ones upset. Which would be solved if they also killed themselves and so forth until the entire human race is extinct.
Why would I need a logical reason to keep on living?
