hello /his/torians, i put together this game. Hopefully you understand how it works. Post and debate who is fucked and who is good to go. for the modifier, use the 1's place in the seconds of the post.
Scenario: you are behind enemy lines and have 3 days to make your way back to friendly german lines before they retreat farther back, leaving you to die. Can you make it?
modifiers:
broken arm- you can only use one arm (this means you are drastically less effective with two handed weapons)
heavy rain- makes you much harder to hear and see, but also makes it harder for you to maneuver.
hungry- you haven't eaten in five days and the hunger pains are starting to set in. you can't travel as far or fast, you are less accurate, and you are less effective with melee.
marksman- much more effective with ranged weapons, much less effective with melee.
stealth- you are much sneakier, but receive a weapons penalty.
multilingual- you can understand and speak the language of your enemy.
brawler- much better with melee, much worse with ranged weapons.
shakes- you are experiencing shock and are much less effective with ranged weapons.
fever- you are feverish and receive penalties to all areas (ranged, melee, stealth)
arid- there is no water, it is very hot, and you havent had water in days. you suffer a melee penalty.
kits and companions can be used to counteract some modifiers. for instance, the full assault kit and the bag, canteen, and messtin counteract arid and hungry because they contain food and water. medkit and nurse counteract fever and shakes.

Suppose I transfer to WTAMU to study polisci and my GPA resets. I went to community college first. Will law schools hold it against me that I went to a shitty state school?
Even if I get a high GPA. Is there still potential to get into a top 50?
Also when I transfer in my GPA will reset. I've done well previously in CC in the last year my lowest grade has been B.

I don't think you fully grasp how easy it is to get into a law school... Many law programs let you squeak in from a party school with a 2.0 GPA. You're fine for getting into a school no matter where your undergrad is. Don't expect employment after graduation by any means though. It's an extremely oversaturated market because any dumbfuck can get into it.

The 2nd amendment permits the right to bear arms, however, back then it was all flint-lock muskets and pistols. Today we have semi automatic weapons, and its led to situations where police are shooting armed citizens who aren't breaking the law. The 2nd amendment is out-of-date for the times, yet, nobody wants to repeal it because nobody wants to give up their guns. And of course everybody appeals back to the "founding fathers" argument regarding the 2nd amendment and the idea of repealing it.
I think I have a solution that would work. They should have required that those carrying arms also be required to adorn some sort of easily identifiable uniform, just like the Minute Men did. Since the founding fathers themselves wore powdered wigs when the signed the constitution and brought the 2nd amendment into practice, we should modify the amendment such that all those bearing arms in an open-carry fashion in public also be required to wear a powdered wig. That way everybody keeps their guns, they're easily identifiable as LAW ABIDING citizens carrying guns (so the police can't mistake them for criminals), and we've effectively honored the founding fathers while doing this. Everybody wins all the way around, and the wig industry gets a big stimulation, which is good for our economy.

Looking for proof of the bear cult.

I would say, yes, he was correct. Human life is worth more than laws against theft and the individual act of one man to steal a drug would not have prevented the druggist successfully making money from his invention.
However it strikes me as being something of a simplistic and false dilemma as there are other ways to make money.

Depends on your views, there is no single right or wrong answer. It also does not state the repercussions of the theft. But to me, he did the wrong thing for the right reasons, the druggist is a shitty person for wanting to turn ten times profit on a life saving drug, but he is free to do so so long as laws are not in place to prevent it. And if there are laws to do so then there should have been legal channels to go through.
