Hello /his/.
I'm very interested in learning to write the way as in picture related or any other older styles of writing. Does anyone have any tips on where I could get started? Does it have a specific name? I live in Bergen in Norway, and there are no courses for these things around here.
Cursive? We are taught that in School

Mmh, yes, but earlier types.. like older sorts of writing styles?
You don't learn cursive in Norwegian schools?
Serbs, what do we know about them?

How do you, personally, interpret Hegel's philosophy and thoughts?
What do you think he said?
Retarded ideologue who spend 1000+ pages trying to find some "profound" way to justify why the Prussian state is a utopia.
>>1433609
it's more likely close to eastern philosophy with the spirit and the history
He was a virgo. Virgos think they are all so smart, when in reality they're not.
What insights have you gained from studying history?
Mine: Our current lives are remarkably luxurious.
Alternatively put - It could be so, so much worse.
Don't get cocky
I'm living a fairly comfortable life, which means that eventually my culture and people will be trashed, interbred and appropriated by some slightly less advanced, more socially cohesive rival nation.
Humans never change in our behaviour, atleast not with the recorded history.
Explain to me why the Byzantine Empire was the Roman Empire, but the Ottoman Empire wasn't.
Neither were
>>1433453
One was Christian the other was Barbaric
>>1433458
Orthodox Christian, that is, not Catholic.
Ayn is cute CUTE
You have low standards. Maybe if you dropped the obsession with philosophy associated with dickass politicians you could meet some girls living in this millenium that don't look like a pug mixed with a frog.
>>1433557
You have high standards. maybe if you turned off the computer and went outside you would realize that most women are Ayn Rand's. Those instagram sluts, celebreties and porn actress are a minority.
I'm pretty sure that's Timmy from Whitest Kids You Know.
>>1433678
lmao, please tell me what shithole you live in so I can never go there.
Were the French more scientifically advanced than the barbaric Saracens during the time of the first crusade or it this just western propaganda?
I've never heard anyone claim that. They were about on par at that time. There had been no true Western scientific advancements yet, but the Westerners knew the science of the Ancients and of the Muslims.
Science didn't exist yet.
They were less advanced, their system of government was much more primitive, their legal systems were much less advances (trial by ordeal was still happening), science was obviously much less advanced, it was a case of things from the east reaching the west, not vice versa. It's under Henry II of Englands rule that England and France start to have their 12th century renaissance.
Satan is mentioned in the new testament several times, by name, and is the major character in one of the most important stories (where jesus is tempted in the desert by him for 40 days).
jesus' miraculous claim to fame (other than surviving execution) is that he cast out demons from people, and even talked to demons (jesus was basically a travelling exorcist).
What I'm saying is that christcucks must *literally* accept the existence of Satan and demons or they cannot be christians by definition.
Satan represents pagan gods.
sage for shitposting thread
>>1433349
>called Satan by name
>"i-it was just a parable! but those other miracles that i like were real!"
so much denial
>>1433344

>>1433341
Stop making this thread every fucking day.
>>1433341
Ok, we get it!
You don't have to repeat something that's common knowledge to everyone in this board!
Is this one buttmad boy posting several different threads about the same thing?
>''a rabble of archers (basically plebs) winning against unstoppable French noble knights
Reality: Longbowmen were rather well trained and equipped, well paid, multi-purpose infantry, that served as mercenaries in Europe, and heavily armored knights were just a fraction of any army of that age, with varying degrees of training and equipment.
>''few English ships beating the greatest fleet world had ever seen, fighting a lost battle"
Reality: artillery duel between a well-equipped fleet that was built up for decades and had numerical advantage, and a fleet in a very bad condition, that sailed a long way and which then tried to retreat got fucked up in a storm.
It was followed by an English expedition which also failed hard.
>inexperienced and smaller British army facing the mighty French led by the unbeatable conqueror, bravely defying the odds and winning in one of most important battles ever
Reality: Napoleon gathered whatever he could after returning from exile, achieved some tactical success, and was caught in a battle against superior opponent which also included non-British, and battle was decided by arrival of Prussian contingent.
>the Few brave airmen faced the unstoppable onslaught by Luftwaffe, barely managing to defend their island and by extension freedom of Europe
Reality: RAF enjoyed both numerical and strategic advantage, and battle never really hung in the balance, Luftwaffe pretty much failed to come even close to defeating them. Even if they somehow managed that, and landed on English shores, RAF would just relocate north, and invasion had literally no hope of success.
So, why is English historical narrative so full of ''we were super-weak, outnumbered and unprepared but our bravery and witt saved the day'' bullshit?
England was always rich as fuck, populated as fuck, and coming at their enemies from a position of strength.
Why are they so desperate to make themselves look weak as fuck, and facing everyone alone?
>we were super-weak, outnumbered and unprepared but our bravery and witt saved the day
Doesn't everyone spout that same bullshit? Or atleast some variation of it. The British are not unique in that case.
>>1433154
Well, sometimes, but English really spin every fucking event in that direction.
This thread will be a QUALITY thread without lie
,butthurt and other Muh Longbows.
I finally understand what Jiddu Krishnamurti was telling us. That to find out the truth about ourselves does take hard work and investigation. But once you truly know yourself, your mind comes to fact with itself and it is whole. When that happens you surpass your mind.
I just had that happen to me.
Cool cool, grats.

what?
How was the relationship between the native Britons and the Anglo Saxon invaders? Did the Anglo Saxons enslave them?
I'm not too sure about this. I'm blatantly guessing that it was an uneasy assimilation effort between the two.
>>1433033
From what I understand a load of Anglo Saxons just moved to England, fought with the natives a bit then any remaining natives assimilated.
Enslaving Welsh people was much more an Irish enterprise.
They likely killed the men and raped the women
it seems like there is strong pressure in culture right now to be as cynical and jaded as possible
even here everyone is hyperfocused on 'redpilling' (memes aside, the sentiment is there) and 'hard truths'
we're supposed to act stoic and abandon all feelings of happiness and positivity. everything is heavy and grim and the alternative is being an ignorant tumblr idiot
things that are positive are seen as shallow, naive and superficial.
why is there such an intellectual bias towards pessimism, negativity, cynicism and futility
i dont want to be this sad anymore but there is no reason to be happy :(
You're just a faggot
You've been visiting /pol/ too much newfriend.
Just give yourself a two week /his/ diet and you should be cured for the time being.
It's called decadence, the end of the age.
Could you do it, my children? Could you charge Omaha beach?
You mean to ask if I could be huddled onto a small boat and jettisoned towards a beach?
yeah probably.
>>1432998
could you get shot at and not lose your spaghetti?
>156 000 Strength
>10 000 killed
yeah i'll take my chances. god is there anything more overhyped than this bullshit
Why did Eastern Rome suddenly lose the ability to stop their neighbours from expanding into their territory in the late mid-1000s?
They were destroying everything in their path only a generation earlier when Basil II was the emperor
>>1432850
Empire depended completely on good leadership
>>1432850
They decentralized power after the countless crises they had, so it took a real bastard to get everything working. So yeah, basically >>1432860
