Why do the ones like #4 look and act so fucking weird? You know who I'm talking about.
Is there any way we can help them act normal despite the unfortunate accidents of nature that have contributed to their bizarre posture and appearance?
I don't mean to be rude but why are they naked on most of their body? Is it because they wear their nesting materials on their body constantly or is it the other way around (i.e. always carrying around/wearing their dirty old nest stuffs and blankets led their hairs to rub off or something...)
Just thought I'd come here because you guys might know

what are the best Vietnam War documentaries?
Last Days in Vietnam is an obvious choice. The Man Nobody knew is also a good one about the general time, but it is less about the war in general as it is a biography of sorts about a CIA spook who was instrumental in the situation turning out the way it did.
Due out in 2017 FINALLY is Ken Burns' Vietnam Miniseries. It's gonna ba like 12 hours long and they've been working on it for a decade or so. It's gonna be huge, so write that shit down.
I'm waiting for it to come out before I get into many other Nam docos, because Burnsy just seems to do it best
Hey guys, what's going on, on this board?

you should define what you mean by it first.
Looking for more information regarding the underlying causes of the revolution. Other than the obvious: no taxation without representation, dependence on the outcome of the 7-year-war, etc. I know that the 'shot heard around the world' is supposed to be the "official" start. But how did that happen? Who shot first? What prompted the colonials to believe they had the right to rebel against the crown as they did, aside from the fact that Americans in general had an inherent adventurous, rebellious spirit. I guess because my own digging has been fruitless in trying to find some outside influence or anything of that nature i feel so sure there has to be some unseen force guiding their hand. Does anyone know of any good books that go into this? Documentaries? Anything?
>>1437657
The Declaration of Independence, which the colonials knew would prompt a British reprisal.
NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION

I'm talking about WAY before the dec, bro. I am looking for the cultivation of the american revolution.

Were the Germans once the guardians of Europe?
Though they were admittedly somewhat cold and Eastern in mentality, they were always the bulwark protecting proper, Western Europe against the Slav/Turk menace.
>Slav menace
If anything the Germans have been buddies with Russia until WW1.
As for the other Slavs, they were never a menace to anyone.
>>1437353
>bulwark protecting against the turk
Nice work in the Balkans, Austrians

No. Germans are not human
How did prewar Jewish life in Berlin compare to Jewish life in Vienna?
What are some good books on German and Austrian Jews before the Holocaust?

I've only realised right now that all during WW2 and WW1 people probably thought they were living in momentous times and the world would change forever afterwards yet they were wrong. In some senses they were right but if you ignore the lives wasted, none of these events changed anything. Humanity just hit the pause button for a few years and then continued as normal.
I'm starting to think that technological progress represents the true progression of history. The worship of Ancient Rome is pretty much a soap opera for posh people to wank over. Woop dee doo, the borders moved about and Julius Caesar changed the borders more than others.
I don't advocate pop sci faggotry but I know you guys will insult me for making this topic even though the entire world and educational system is weighted towards facilitating soap operas.
>>1436648
WW1 and WW2 advanced sciences and technology so they did make a difference
>>1436648
You seem to be under the impression that war, conquest (read: money) and scientific progress aren't intimately related.
I would argue that the moral & social evolution of mankind: How it organizes itself, how it governs itself, its beliefs & perceptions, its values & taboos are more important than 'technological progression'.
What if God exists but he's not metaphysically necessary? Could we even know about him?

Why do people say Islam is "Arab supremacist"? How could such a religion spread so quickly into non-Arab lands? Why was the first muezzin a black man? Is it because Muhammad was an Arab? Well, is Christianity Jewish supremacist then?
>>1436414
>Well, is Christianity Jewish supremacist then?
Yes. Now you're thinking with portals.
>How could such a religion spread so quickly into non-Arab lands?
Conquest, which is the historically factual cause of it's spread
>>1436414
Because in the past few decades Arab nationalism turned Arab into a nationalist ethnicity that precludes any others, when historically under the later Caliphates to be 'Arab' in the Muslim world was not unlike being Roman or American - a cultural identity. It used to have an ethnic supremacist implication during the Umayyad era where it was limited solely to those of the Hedjaz, but that quickly vanished.

I've never heard about Albigenses or the Albigensian crusade ever before in my life and just a few days ago I kept seeing this shit everywhere?
It seems like this crusade was extremely important to europe as a modern western entity but why am I only hearing about this now?
