So when an adult man is sexually interested in an underaged girl, its called pedophilia.
But when an adult woman is sexually interested in an underaged boy, its called Milf Hunting (according to the boy)?
If its all subjective, then is calling rape 'rape' giving it more importance as a neutral action, like all actions are, than it actually possesses, PROVING just how much women WANT SEX but pretend there's a hierarchy to it, so they invent 'wanted' and 'unwanted' sex?
>>1565397
There's nothing wrong with pedophilia in general, if we just removed age of consents there wouldn't be any of that bad stigma involved for either gender
*not BUT pretend
'AND pretend' because its cause and effect
>I enjoyed my rape, even married my rapist
>I have a list defining Sexual Assault as an assault
No action by itself is right or wrong until the subject colors it with definitions. All actions are neutral.
Therefore justice itself does not exist and this is true justice.
The Justice system consists of egomaniacs who wish to play God but are not God. They think they're different. Its even in the way they dress.
What is the highest form of virtue?
Pursuit of truth? Love? Happiness? Friendship? Honor? Pride? Kindness?
Also, has it ever hampered your socialization because of your pursuit of those virtue?
People these days follow their desires and not any virtues.
Virtues are delegated to the backrow seat and only used when they have something to gain.

Possibly. Best bet is to get Belgium in the Allied camp over the winter of 39-40, and dig in deep over the winter and spring behind the Dyle and Maas rivers. If that didn't stop Germany cold, it would at least seriously bloody their noses trying to push through like that.
Is architecture art or science?
Also, please discuss about classic vs. modern/contemporary styles of architecture
I like brutalism.
I dislike neoclassicism.

Some have made comparisons from the modern day middle east to the pre-ww1 (ie 1880-1914) Balkans. The essential argument I hear is that in the early twentieth century Balkan states began becoming imperialist (vis-a-vis their neighbors) due to rising nationalism following their liberation from the declining Ottoman empire. In a similar fashion, early twenty-first century arab states are becoming imperialist due to rising religious extremism following their "liberation" from the declining Comintern (who supported the baathist states). Does pic related not resemble the modern middle east?
Speculation:
The first world war came about due to longstanding treaties and a willingness by the central/allied powers to enforce them. Could a similar thing happen in the middle east? Forget about Iraq, let's say Saudi Arabia begins to break up and Iran intervenes with Russian or Chinese support and fire on US bases (perhaps as part of a larger strategy involving claims in the South Pacific and Arctic Sea). Disregarding "superpower" intervention, a major result of ww1 was communism becoming a real thing (ie, it took over a country, impoverished Russia). Let's say over the next ten years ISIS is able to grow (perhaps able to get a bit of shoreline in Syria) and become a stable (but authoritarian) country. They could then become a major player in a larger conflict (say the US vs China).

>The essential argument I hear is that in the early twentieth century Balkan states began becoming imperialist
Who the fuck says that? Do western historians seriously say that shit? I'm Balkanite and I've never heard of it.
And if we've been imperialists does that mean we're now one of the cool countries? Though I guess that also means we have to start hating ourselves for being white and inviting muslims to rape our women and boys.
Russia is actively fighting against ISIS, very unlikely that they would support them in a war against the US.
>>1564606
The only Middle Eastern states you could consider imperialist would be Saudi Arabia and Iran, as shown by their religiously-enforced rivalry.
But only the Yemeni Civil War is a result of that. Syria happened first due to internal factors, and was then exacerbated by the involvement of numerous foreign powers, not just Iran/Saudi
Iraq and Libya are also domestically-rooted conflicts, with overtones of Western imperialism
None of these are "liberated" states. Comintern collapsed 25 years ago, and even then had little influence over ME states and their relations with each other.
I like historical comparisons but usually there's way too many holes in them
ISIS has way too many enemies to survive. You have Russia and Turkey fucking collaborating to take them down. You have Iran allowing a foreign country to use its military bases (their constitutions BANS the establishment of foreign military bases) to target them. Other than some edgy rich Salafis in the Gulf states, they have no support
Was he right?

Having a functioning economic system is not incompatible with a spiritual world view, it just means that the poor dont have to live as dirt farmers.
>>1564424
Yes. Preserving one's ethos and ensuring social harmony are better ideals than blind productivity and profit driven nonsense.
For example, the privatization of scientific research has made it less for promoting communal stability and the welfare of one's own people, and now it is for just appeasing funding agencies that want to use it for profit, generally so. People should feel impelled to do good out of a sense of bonding based around a common ethos, and when the people abandon it, their societies will collapse.
Unlike Evola, however, I am not as much of a racialist though because the ethos and sense of brotherhood takes precedence.

Hey guys, I'm thinking of starting a /his/ book club. I recommend Sangokushi (Romance of the Three Kingdoms) by Yokohama Mitsuteru. It's in manga format so anyone can read it. It's also very historically accurate and uses actual Chinese names instead of Japonified ones (Probably better than actual translations).
The series has 60 volumes so I'm thinking about reading two volumes per week, that way we can finish within a year. And yes, the series is complete and very well translated.
I'll post a Pastebin if there's enough support.
Here's the book in question (look for it yourself)

can /his/ point me in the direction of a good book about Alexander the Great? I've heard Alexander of Macedon by Peter Green is good, and I have that on the way soon, but what other titles are there worth looking into?
Check out Audible's free audiobook trials. I think if you use www.audible.com/rome then you get 2 credits
Then buy yourself "Alexander and the Macedonian Empire", a lecture series by the teaching company that's top notch.
If not that, get the Landmark Arrian

The Nabateans were recorded by ancient people as a race of merchants, the ruins of their city of Petra is considered one of the wonders of the world. Further south, trade-based cities at Mecca and Medina had a thriving and cosmopolitan character, and the Arab influenced Swahili coast in East Africa has long been one of the most advanced and prosperous regions on that continent. Sadly very little is left of pre-Islamic Arabia, but many of their cultural memes are preserved in Islam, mostly via the hadiths, stuff like the "Islamic" dress code or the importance of hospitality to strangers (which survived despite Muslim chauvinism).

Almost all the Eurasian religions pray with their hands similar to this.
Does this common behavior point towards its origins in a common pre historical proto religion?
The most common gesture of prayer in early Christendom was the Orans, which looks like this.
