Why do you guys love Rhodesia so much?
Because /pol/ loves the Lost Cause narrative in all its forms, no matter how stupid.

It had one of the highest living standards in Africa and wasn't a complete dickhead apartheid state like South Africa.
Were his teachings cancer?
None moreso than any other Stoic.
>>1664822
Aristotle was a stoic? I just know him as how to make an argument man and the precursor to Stefan Molyneux.
He was far more rigorous than any other Greek philosopher by a large margin, so I don't think so.
What type of government is best, /his/?
>>1664795
Theocracy if the populace is of one religion and are generally devout
Fascist if the populace are of the same ethnicity & cultural heritage, and religion is either diverse or not a very big part of people's lives
Federation if the populace is both culturally, ethnically, & religiously diverse
Technocracy should be used only in appointing minsters or staffs of specific departments, i.e. experts in the field.

I can identify the Danish, UK, Senegalese and French flags easy enough. I'm struggling with the other ones though.
Aladdin's appears to be East Turkestan but that wouldn't make any sense.
Hercules' would presumably be ancient Greece? but like what flag would they even be using.
I don't even know who the other two guys are or what their flags might be.
>>1664751
Hercules is using the Macedonian flag, but really it's just an excuse to use a Vergina Sun which was considered a symbol for ancient Greece.
>>1664751
Aladdin's original setting was in the farthest east, which for Medieval Muslims would be like Mongolia or China.
>>1664751
Next to Hercules the flag is of the Kingdom of Naples while it was under Napoleon.
>hurr i can prove i exist
>i can't prove others exist
>therefore only i exist, as far as i am concerned
What a crock of shit. You can't possibly take comfort in this garbage, right?
People grow out of it eventually. Here is a refuation of it:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Here_is_one_hand#Introduction
>>1664636
That doesn't seem to be so much of a refutation of it so much as a denial of it. regardless solipsism is a pointless mental exercise that is best left ignored
>>1664612
Even if you can't take comfort in it, who says comfort has value? What if you don't value comfort?
Am i the only one who notices the major similarities between Cao Cao and Julius Caesar?
>Highly skilled military leader and Politician
>Skilled writer and orator
>Seen as Tyrant
>Greedy and Ambitious
Inb4 Caesar wasn't greedy... Yes he was, doesn't matter though, he is still the same lovable figure
Cao Cao, Caesar, Napoleon and Nobunaga are the same timetraveller
Caesar wasn't greedy. He had riches aplenty from sacking Gaul and instead of living as a fat patrician in 'exile' on one of his many palatial villas he rolled the dice on challenging the Senate and taking Rome. The same way he rolled the dice for his election as Pontifex. He was crazy ambitious, but he wasn't greedy.
>>1664513
>Caesar and Cao Cao
One was extraordinarily successful and the other was Julius
Does school kill creativity?

We had this exact thread with the exact ted talk link and thread image literally two days ago fuck off please.
if you're not an idiot to begin with, no.
>>1664453
Yes, but the problem is that most people aren't creative. Relatively creative or intelligent people in the past would study specific subjects privately, while mass populace who could afford it would go to government schooling, but because of things like feminism, government schooling is the dominant form of education.
>Would you be so kind to prove with the KJV

See, this is exactly the problem with heretics. They have a nice book revised by a British monarch between 1604 to 1611, cut off from anything Church or early Christianity related, based only on the opinions of Anglican clergy and the order of their king. And based on that revised, rootless book they demand their heresy to be proven wrong.
It's like trying to prove them wrong with Quaram. Or Book of Mormon. These two come from the Bible too, so why not?
Papalism is anti-Biblical heresy

>b-but his version of an abstract concept is different to mine! h-heritic! there is only one expression of religion allowed in the world and that is my own Jewish desert religion. Psssh nothin personnel heretic.

The opposite, I'm afraid. Debunking heresy begins with debunking its roots.
Hey, I've read a little about Nicolae Ceaușescu's execution and the events coming up to the 1989 revolution and I'm unsure whether I can be bothered reading a book or such about whether it was justified or not. I was wondering if any people /his/ could provide their opinions.
I've watched the show trial: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XsRQP7TifME which can be watched here. It's obviously baseless and the claims made that they committed genocide are unfounded as hospital reports show only around 1,000 people died by authorities in comparison to the 64,000 which was reported by western media. Also, the very fact they decided to kill them so brutally without an actual trial is quite disgusting.
Could any people on /his/ provide greater information and are there any short books on the subject?
Thanks!

To the Religious, What would you do if god was proven to your satisfaction to not be real? (even if you think it to be impossible, pretend it is)
To the Non Religious, what would you do if god was real and proven to your satisfaction?
What sort of proof are we talking about? Is it a white-robed god appearing and quoting his own scripture or like an astronomer finds the 'made by god' sticker on the edge of the universe? Because, if the former, I do whatever the omnipotent thing wants if it's threatening. If it's the latter, I go on not caring about a boring distant Spinozan god.
Depends if it changes anything or not.
I'm religious and if God were ever actually disproved then I would convert to atheism.
