How important is charisma in a leader?
If a leader is intelligent and experienced, do they really need charisma? Or do none of those things matter without the charisma to back it up?
>>1798071
You need to convince those around you, and knowing what words to use and how to connect with people makes that possible.
>>1798071
>If a leader is intelligent and experienced, do they need charisma
No, but it certainly helps and will convince more people. So for optimal results, yes.

Post movies that pose as /his/torical but make your blood boil
movie was pretty accurate to the period desu mate.
>literally says legend on the poster
This isn't a film that has any pretensions. It's just a good action movie and frankly I enjoyed it.
You probably just made this thread because you caught on to the inaccuracy (which is very easy to do and doesn't take an expert) and got really buttmad since you didn't accept it's just a fun action flick set in ancient times. So you felt the need to express how superior you are by bashing it, but really no one cares.

What I want to know is where the hell the title "Dragon Blade" came from and what it's supposed to mean.
The Chinese title "Heavenly General, Heroic Commander" is pretty weird to, with on obvious connection to anything.
despite the /pol/ memes, does anybody find the culture that Judaism has is interesting? I've been reading up on their holidays, and several of them seem like cool ideas, like the one where people rip bread and throw it into a river to atone for sins.
distinct jewish culture is a literal meme

Literally paganism tier. Same with kapparot.
>oy vey if i swing this chicken around the centrifugal force makes all my sins go into the chicken! jewish physics! at least i'm not worshipping that nazarene sorceror!
Jews recently won the "right" to do this barbarian talmudic ritual on New York streets, folks.

The only ones with distinct culture are Orthodox Jews, and I'm just glad I don't have to wear that shit outfit.

Gather round, men of all cultures, for I seek to understand the evolution and downfall of what used to be the most sacred institution in history.
You may not agree on this, I sure care to know why. From one point in time to another, from one place to another, tradition has been different.
I here invite all religions, beliefs, and experienced men to share their thoughts on what was, what is, and what will become of the uniting ritual we have all been accustomed with at one point in life.
I believe divorce should not be taken lightly. Marrying is committing to give and share without demanding, not only to your spouse, but also to the one born out of it as well. I am saddened to see marriages without any depth destroyed and destroying families and children so often. It did not look so usual throughout history, I feel kind of bitter and nostalgic about it.
>tl;dr: what makes marriage relevant today in comparison with ancient times?
>>1797170
Marriage is worth nothing today. You might as well just have a life long Girlfriend.
Two men can get married today. There is nothing special or sacred about it.
A family is the primordial building block of any civilization. No family - no civilization. Strong family - strong civilization. The Romans knew this, as evidenced in their conception of the Pater Familias.

Yeah I pretty much agree with this
Now, before all the fags start parroting Molyneux, let me just say this: Marriage creates order in society. Are alternatives good? don't know, don't care, probably a lot less. Any human should be free to choose his path as an individual without consideration to society. I'm fairly certain a lot of /pol/lacks will reply to me with "good goy" etc but the truth of the matter you shouldn't comply to marriage purely because it's "good", you have no such duty towards anyone. If you want to marry because of some metaphysical concept such as "continuing your race" you're an absolutely spooked.

I don't know a god damn thing about Osha, but I did dynamic meditation a few times. Eliott Hulse, who I watch for strength training videos (i mostly browse /fit/ and /his/) recommends it in this video:

And it was actually pretty fucking awesome. I felt much more relaxed after, as insane/spastic as it felt doing it. I felt reinvigorated/calm afterwards.
For you guys who was the worst emperor, king, monarchy of all time?
Caligula
>He considered himself a God
>Slept with women from other men and kill them for pure amusement
>Deliberately wasting money on his bridge, causing starvation
> Once, at some games at which he was presiding, he ordered his guards to throw an entire section of the crowd into the arena during intermission to be eaten by animals because there were no criminals to be prosecuted and he was bored.
Caligula did nothing wrong.
He just took roman hypocrites for their own ride.
They gave divinity to Ceasar and Augustus because they're dead and safe ? They deserved to get a living god for that, these obsequious fucks.
They gave him the responsibility to feed them ? they deserved to starve.
They came to watch people getting eaten for their amusement ? they deserved to get eaten for his.
>>1796905
Caligula is not even close to Tiberius tier.

Do you believe morals such as 'good' and 'evil' can be defined objectively, or are you a moral relativist?
Explain. And get the Stirner out of your system early if you have to.

Why did Japan end almost all contact with Europeans in the early 1600s and not resume contact with Europeans for over 200 years after that?
Europeans had nothing the Japs wanted except guns. Guns were no longer necessary once Japland was united.
To stop Europeans trading with potentially rebellious clans and causing civil unrest.
Japs were autistic xenophobs
