I like studying history of conquerors like Ghengis Khan, Attilla, etc.
We can all agree the best are Abaddon the Despoiler or Archaon the Everchosen.

Neither city was leveled. Even the absolute devastation of Dresden only killed about 3% of its population.
It's not done primarily because it's not very effective as a morale destroying factor, and modern wars are generally non-total, so its industrial application is generally not a major factor.
And you did have enormous strategic bombing in Vietnam. Go look up Operation Linebacker. (The second one, that is)

I've noticed a trend among narcissistic people really liking Nietzsche and even using his quotes as an excuse for their parasitic behavior.
I admit that if there is any merit in his "philosophy", I would miss it due to the mental connections I've formed between him and said NPD-fucks. But I also recognize that there might be something there.
So.. is there anything of real.. actual merit there? Or is it mostly an excuse for entitled, do-no-wrongs?

I'm writing a short story where the Catholic Church becomes full Muslim after a fictional Third Vatican Council.
