Why do keynesian children like to pretend deflation is bad when the entire gilded age(period of massive economic growth where wages rose and prices fell) had deflation year after year after year?
Why do keynesian children like to pretend we're somehow living under "neoliberalism" when we've done nothing but print trillions of dollars and given it to bankers and corporations since we got off the gold standard in 1970?
Why do keynesian children like to pretend "muh animal spirits" caused the great depression when the fed printed money in the 1920s causing an artificial boom which collapsed and then the government under Hoover/FDR basically completely took over the economy putting in wage and price controls, massive tariffs and taxes, insane crazy regulation, literally printing money and paying farmers to destroy food to prop up prices etc?
Why do keynesian children like to ignore the recession of 1920, which started off worse than the great depression, the government did absolutely nothing, the economy restructured itself and the recession was OVER in 8 months or so?
Why do keynesian children like to pretend WW2, a MASSIVE destructive war somehow got us out of the depression when all it did was convert most of the economic capacity of the country to a war machine(consumer goods aren't produced), made a lot of men fight a brutal war(muh lower unemployment rate amirite?) while there was food rationing, extremely long hours and poverty back home?
Why did keynesian children whine like the children they are when after WW2 when we massively cut taxes, regulations and spending it lead to the most economically productive year in American history and set the stage for the post war economic boom when the years before we did this, they were saying cutting spending would lead to a DISASTER?
Why do keynesian children like Paul Krugman believe that an alien invasion would help the economy?

I am aware that this thread may seem flippant because of its title, however I do see individuals providing revisionist history of this event quite often. They claim that a significantly smaller percentage, such as 200000 people passed away during the Holocaust--a far cry from the standard 11 million.
The purpose of this thread is to provide proof that the Holocaust did occur as alleged by debunking their claims. I will list their arguments below and please provide evidence or reasoning in order to prove them wrong. Thank you.

This really depends on a lot lot lot of shit.
Who's attacking, who's defending, etc. If rome is invading from the coast their navy will get absolutely destroyed. If they're coming over the steppe or through the gobi they have a better shot. If China is invading though the middle east or Anatolia they're going to get shat on by well-supplied legions, but if they come over through European steppes they'll run into Foederati in the dense woods and won't get far.
But if you're talking about, say, a neutral battleground, and just comparing troops, it would probably go to the romans just for the sheer diversity of their troop compositions (if we include foederati) and superior infantry armor, shields, and discipline.
Chinese fought mostly with spears and missile weapons, which the Romans had a very easy time fighting against, given how easily they subjugated pretty much every western variant thereof. Besides, Chinese didn't have the military culture built into civic virtue like Rome did. Romans also were supremely adaptable, whereas the chinese regularly got BTFO'd by nomads because they couldn't roll with the punches.
But besides, both empires had tremendous respect for each other, even establishing embassies during the reign of Septimius Severus. China viewd rome as a sort of Anti-China on the other side of the world, like the yang to its yin. They both coveted goods, silks and glasswares, from each other, and some of Rome's later economic reforms are argued to be emulating techniques they observed in China.

How big an impact did Athenean democracy really had on history? I'm starting to doubt the idea that if Athens never existed we wouldn't have democracy today.
Consider this:

What were some notable successes by Austria-Hungary on the Eastern Front in WW1? For pretty much the whole war they were the majority of Central Powers forces on a front that ended with nearly 2-1 casualties in the Central Powers' favor. They couldn't have been that bad.

There were only 320,000 total Russian casualties in the East Prussia invasion and over 9 million on the whole Eastern Front. For nearly the whole war, the majority of Central Powers soldiers on that front were Austro-Hungarian. Given that even in the proto-blitzkrieg against the much less formidable Romanians, the Germans couldn't manage more than a roughly 3-1 casualty ratio, there's no way that lopsided casualty ratio is down solely to the relatively small number of German troops involved.
