How did India influenced so many countries?
12 posts and 1 images submitted.

Because civilization has existed in Indian subcontinent region for a long time.
There have been many different empires in ancient India like Gupta empire, Ashok empire, and the chola empire which is responsible for many temples present in modern day Indonesia, Thailand etc.
Buddhism too originated from India hence Tibet and Myanmar is explained.
Pakistan & Bangladesh separated just 70 years ago and were always a part of Indian empires in history here their culture too is influenced.
>>
>>2188485
In places like Central and East Asia it was largely the spread of Buddhism and to a lesser extent Hinduism that brought Indian influence. In Southeast Asia influence was more a wholesale adoption of Indian civilization. Civilization arose much later in Southeast Asia than in India, and when it did arise it was largely stimulated by the Chinese-Indian trade. Ascendant chiefdoms and early states in Indochina and Indonesia were involved in this trade and came into contact with Indian traders, learned of Indian civilization and adopted from them ideological concepts and practices like writing, religion, architecture, kingship, etc. This legitimized their power, integrated them into a wider cultural world, and facilitated further elaboration and expansion of their polities. The native cultures still remained though, often integrating Indian concepts into their own beliefs.

Aside from the spread of religion and civilization, there's also the spread of intellectual (especially mathematical) achievements like Hindu-Arabic numerals, the concept of zero and algebra, inventions like Wootz steel and rocketry, and cultural creations like chess, often elaborated on and spread by the Muslims. Basically just the usual inventiveness you'd expect from any major world civilization.

Yes.

It saved a bunch of American and Japanese lives, in addition to bringing Japan under American occupation during the rest of the 1940's and 50's. The alternative would have probably involved some korea or vietnam-style split.

Being a horse archer like the mongols or Huns wasn't just something you did. Those kind of soldiers were created through a lifetime of learning and perfecting their craft. Those horse archers also had a different kind of cultural mindset that led them to become what they were.

Can /his/ tell me what was the male-female dynamic among hunter-gatherers?
Wikipedia says they are/were egalitarian for the most part which really doesn't make sense to me when I look at our closest evolutionary relative, the chimpanzees. I would argue that a species where the females instinctively seek out the alpha males - as in humans - cannot be egalitarian.

There are many social mechanisms to keep the field mostly level, and these vary depending on the group. Bands don't tend to be organized by sustained hierarchies, but there are personal rankings of preference. Status has importance, but it's 'distributed' more equally, as it's hard to sustain a harem in a group of 12-30 folks when all the men are armed and just as keen on reproducing.
>>
Obviously similar to chimps and modern humans, meaning patriarchal, polygamous with female exogamy. Theres literally no evidence that primitive humans were egalitarian, its all wishful thinking by leftist academics.
>>
>>2187958
Chimps aren't patriarchal.

why is it that telling Jews that they should love other people including non-Jews is so offensive to them that they think it warrants your torture and crucifixion?

He was crucified by the romans, not the Jews, and he was crucified for causing an uprising.

I don't understand. Why did he reject the Frankfurt Proposals? Yes, he would have to give back Belgium but was it really worth it to lose the title of Emperor and be sent to Elba? Yes, I know he came back but he ended up fucking losing the same year anyway and had to live in some shitty house in the Atlantic for the last 6 years of his life. Was it really fucking worth it?

Typical white oppressor, failing to recognize the tragic destruction of the most precious cultures in human history. Such a shame that these precious people were wiped out:

"The logic of Comanche raids was straightforward: All the men were killed, and any men who were captured alive were tortured to death as a matter of course, some more slowly than others; the captive women were gang-raped. Some were killed, some tortured. But a portion of them, particularly if they were young, would be spared (though vengeance could always be a motive for slaying hostages). Babies were invariably killed, while preadolescents were often adopted by Comanches or other tribes. This treatment was not reserved for whites or Mexicans; it was practiced just as energetically on rival Indian tribes."

OP here. I forgot to mention Billy had a wife who never caught on.
"Tipton kept the secret of his extrinsic sexual characteristics from Betty by inventing a story of having been in a serious car accident resulting in damaged genitals and broken ribs, and that it was necessary to bind the damaged chest to protect it. From then on, this was what he would tell the women in his life."

>The security of the China's core regions is dependent on control of China's external regions, which provide a buffer from invading forces. This is understood by Chinese strategists. In the 21st century, these external regions include the seas nearby China, which are controlled by the United States and thus incite conflicts between the US and China that will only be resolved with war.

Is this an accurate interpretation of the rise of China in relation to competition with the US?
