What is the greatest human virtue?
>>2187625
Self-control, because almost every other virtue comes of it.
>>2188496
>because almost every other virtue comes of it.
that's true of many things.

Faith in axioms is required for any civilized society
Do you think that blaming Jews was a mistake so he should've been skipped this part of his political program?
>>2187565
Blaming the Jews was basically the entire "why we lost WW1" excuse. If he had to admit declaring war on the entire planet was bad, the German people would probably think "wait no let's not do this again".
If anything he should have done exactly as ally propaganda and Hollywood says he did, as finished the job, if he couldn't win the war. He would have done humanity a service, even, and perhaps specially, non-whites.
>>2187565
then he would have just been another good goy
Is it true humans perceive cuteness based on how similar something looks to a baby?
>>2187504
Survey says no.
>>2187504
Yes! And while babies are not fluffy, reptilian, insectoid, or amphibian traits are rarely "cute" because they tend to resemble disease, physical harm, or their harbingers. Scales resemble dry, diseased skin, and also obviously invoke venomous snakes or crocodiles. Multiple wriggly legs are less attractive because insects, if not harbingers of disease, are a pest that destroys food and crops.
>But what about rats and mice?
Most people don't find rodents cute, because of their wriggliness, but it's easier to make someone accustomed to a chubby mouse or a hamster than it is to make them like roaches or spiders.

Why did peace treaties seemingly get suddenly harsher in the 20th century?
For example, Austria and France lost the 7 years war but Austria had barely any punishment.
Austria lost the first world war, and had their entire empire dismantled.
What made peace treaties seemingly get way more extreme?
>>2187158
>but Austria had barely any punishment.
Are you kidding? Never heard about a place called Silesia, right?
Why open threads like this, if you are not interested in the topic at all?
/his/ is flooded with these kind of threads, where its only an OP and nothing else.
>>2187158
>For example, Austria and France lost the 7 years war but Austria had barely any punishment.
Brit detected
The Seven Years War in Europe was truly lost by Prussia
The only reason they didnt get punisged is because the Russian Tsar loved them
Brits need to realize the shitty skirmish in North America in which they took a decade to defeat severely outnumbered frogs =/= the real Seven Years War
If you wanted a good exemple, you could have mentioned how Austria attacked France three times between 1798 and 1809 and ended up with French troops marching in Vienna each time, yet Napoleon never felt like deposing their emperor
hello does your ethics encourage or discourage sacrifice
pretty sure only a lack of ethics would discourage sacrifice
Heavily encourages.
>>2187086
How are you defining "Sacrifice"?
>>2187081
Charles II, the Bad, of Navarre.
>Attacked Poland while they were having trouble with Russia
>Stole everything he could including doorknobs and stairs
>Later sign a peace where he state he will hand back everything he took form the Poles
>Never hand back anything
>Take all of Eastern Denmark in a war
>Later break the peace and try to do even more
>Die in cancer
>Your soon continue your work by impaling Scanians for fighting against your rule

When future generations (say, 700 or 800 years from now) study c20th ancient history, what event/s will they focus on and/or consider most significant?
When the aliens landed in 2018
>700 years
>ancient
Dude, My Great-Great-Great-Great Grandfather knew someone lived that long ago. 700 years ago it was only 1300. It would only be 200 years until America was discovered, how is that "ancient"?
Anyway, probably WW2 and globalism. They might not even learn about it at all if the next 700 years are more eventful.
>>2187015
>six generations (plus the knowing someone, which could be a chold knowing someone 100 years old, but still)
>700 years
You're saying your family waits an average of 100 years to have children?
