He was anti-Semitic but not the same way as others were. He was far more willing to give a chance to some Jews and to punish non-Jews who were acting Jewish like a Jew. He wasn't super into race theories, and yes he used the term Aryan but usually in association with cultural or artistic types.

and consider the Anti-Russian NATO alliance now expanding further into Russia's frontier with the shield gone, it's pretty easy to see why Russia saw the Warsaw Pact as necessary.

Hell there's wars going on today over expanding the alliance's borders further still, which still makes me question why NATO is hesitating so much on absorbing Ukraine, if the goal is to put Western troops on the Russian border. This would be a dream come true to just get on with it.

I'm going to be on it next year. That's all I can reveal - not telling you my University. All I can say is, the show (and quizzing) in general is much easier than it seems, and most humanities related answers to questions are simply inferences or educated guesses.

If you want some perspective, I average around 24 questions right an episode, including bonuses. And I know that because the team has made me calculate it.

University Challenge is easy. If it's a long question, just ignore the first part of background information which is put there to confuse you. Focus on the actual information at the end.

I remember watching it the other day and during the picture round they couldn't name the sculpture of the Roman emperor. It was the most famous sculpture that exists of Augustus from Livia's villa lmao, probably the easiest question you could ever get and none of them got it.

Italians in WW2. WW1 Italians were crippled by Cadorna being in overall command for most of the war, but were still able to succeed despite that (some of the Isonzo battles were Italian victories, despite Cadorna's best efforts).

They also made the best WW1 tank that never fought (like seriously the Fiat 2000 was basically an interwar tank with the full-rotation turret, decently sized main gun, and actual engine compartment separate from the crew)

You want immigration to only fill the gaps that are left open by newly created jobs.

Technically you could go over your job growth and your GDP would be highest, but it means in 30-40 years your GDP per capita would be less than ideal.

The most IDEAL longer term GDP per capita is using your native population to breed at a rate that gives you long term gdp per capita sustainance, assuming your natural resources are not going to subjected to paradigm shifts.

Countries that are like saudi arabai have an asset that will be worthless in 60 years (oil), so they'd profit immensely from immigrants. The United States benefits a little bit from immigrants because it also has oil, but the oil market is trash right now since everybody is rushing to sell, so the U.S. would not explicitly benefit from having more new workers than job growth.
