been on a paleontological dis with an archaological component, Australian megafauna. No artefacts in the target layer for fossils but there was an aboriginal heritage overlay. Didn't find too much in terms of quantity but there was a greenstone shard found, greenstone axes came from a nearby quarry and were traded huge distances.

Judging presidents by how the economy performed under their administration pre-FDR is really dumb. The general working of the economy was seen as outside the realm of presidential responsibility until The New Deal (Woodrow Wilson & WW1 as the rare exception).

Of course Presidents before FDR made decisions that affected the economy, but most were tied by the extraordinarily small size of the Federal Government and a pre-Keyensian understanding of Fiscal Orthadoxy.
