Imagine being one of the guys who whipped Jesus.
You're literally going to burn in eternal fire for just doing your job
>This province is too hot.
>There's sand in my tunic again.
>I wish I was back in Caesarea.
>Haven't been able to piss since that Magdalene skank.
>Some homeless Galilean smashing up the Court of Gentiles. Looks like he's gonna be this year's Messiah claimant.
>Locals keep yelling racial slurs at me because it's fucking Passover.
>Thanks a lot, Pompey.
You wouldn't because when he dies your sins are cleared. If I was whipping him I wouldn't enjoy it, my tears would be flicking onto his back, but I'd be whipping hard to hasten the process.

Eh they killed a guy falsely claiming to be the messiah. My country probably does that at least twice a week minimum. Hell if God was mad at the Romans he sure didn't demonstrate it.
What do you lads think of this video?

Agreed that voice is pretty great.
Is modern racism in America the result of:
a. Pre-Established racist notions and racist culture
b. A lack of interaction and/or understanding with a particular culture/ethnicity
c.Muh memes
d. People's own bias created through own particular experience
e. All of the above
f. Fill in the blank
as an immigrant, I will tell you, America is obsessed with race and my greater question is why?
>>2288032
Americans had no culture or history of their own, so they ended up creating one.
Much like their fast food, their history is also made in the a jiffy and is pretty shit.
Define racism
>>2288044
perceived superiority and/or hatred over/towards certain cultures and/or ethnicities based solely on one's own history, life experience, or culture, I guess?
or perhaps believing not all humans are essentially equal and one group is worse
Where are these from?
I have absolutely nothing to contribute except a guess that they're potentially from Classical North Africa (Carthage, Egypt). I'm probably wrong.
Any knowledge-fags out there that can explain heraldry dos and don'ts to a retard?
>>2287983
Could you explain better what exactly do you mean?
Also bumping with my own question. Could someone explain to me why black eagles in germanic nations crests (HRE, Prussia, Austria etc.) look so, well, evil? I mean, just look at those spooky heads and jagged black wings, this looks like some hellspawn demonbird, not a symbol of virtues the nation could look up to. Who the fuck drew that and tought "Yeah, I want this nightmarish abomination to be a personal symbol of my family and lands"?
>>2288461
>Could someone explain to me why black eagles in germanic nations crests (HRE, Prussia, Austria etc.) look so, well, evil?
That's purely your opinion anon. They don't look evil to me. They were meant to project authority and impress, so they weren't gonna slap a big, pink chicken on the crest so they wouldn't scare anons hundreds of years in the future.

Because Germans (Saxons) are just murderous devil spawns. ;)

the Iranian and Indic peoples have the same ethnic origin as the Greeks, Romans, Celts, and Germans. Why are they not included? The notion was long before Christendom, so what made them distinct?
>>2287955
>The notion was long before Christendom
Not really. Western civilization is the civilization that grew out of Rome's Latin West after the fall of Rome, basically Catholic and then Protestant Europe. It is distinct from Orthodox Christendom, derived from Rome's Greek East. The West is basically an area that went through a series of common developments, which weren't experienced by the likes of Greece, Russia, Romania, Armenia, etc, which had their own separate development. After Western Rome fell, the West went through the 'Dark Ages', the Carolingian Renaissance, the rise of feudalism and Romanesque in the 11th century, the crusades, medieval communes, the 12th century intellectual renaissance, the rise of Gothic, the Printing Revolution, Humanism, etc. These resulted in shared legal, literary, political, artistic, philosophical, technological, economic, demographic, and other traditions. All of this made the West its own unique 'world', just like Islam, Orthodoxy, East Asia and Greater India were.
The Greco-Roman world was its own civilization, and the West is only one offshoot of it. To call them 'Western' is anachronistic, unless you're just referring to their geographical position in relation to eastern civilizations.
>>2288002
i follow, this makes sense
so why then do we still use the term in reference to pre-Christendom ad the Orthodox/Catholic split?
So was Ancient Greece western, and modern Greece not?
>>2288530
Basically it's because Westerners, especially after the Renaissance, saw/see the Greeks as the foundation of their civilization, which is true to a certain extent. They were thus the 'founders' of Western civilization in a sense, though they weren't Western themselves. In the same sense they could be called the founders of Orthodox and Islamic civilizations, though obviously they weren't Orthodox (in ancient times) or Islamic. From a Western perspective this lead to the Greeks being retroactively seen as a Western civilization, contrasted with the orientalist idea of 'the East'. Sometimes this is projected back even further, to the Mycenaeans and Minoans, though I don't think Western civilization owes much to them.
Another reason is simply the fact that the Greeks and Romans were geographically located in the west in relation to other contemporary civilizations, so it makes sense to call them 'western' in that sense, which reinforces their association with later Western civilization.
What is /his/ opinion on this guy and his religion?
he struck gold with his spooks, very lucky
>>2287934
He was a pretty cool dude even if his story is full of holes and is strange to outsiders. Utah Mormon here AMA
Convicted scam artist and racist who quite literally invented his own religion by talking to his semi-retarded friend through a tophat.
Also didn't accept the trinity, which is a corner stone of the Christian faith. But we all have to pretend they're just as legitimate a branch of Christianity as all the others, every presidential election year.

Imagine being knocked out by someone with chloroform or whatever, and then, unknowingly, being taken and strapped down on the ground. Afterwards, you are drugged every now and then so that you never wake up. You are not dead, but everything has taken away from you, and you have been taken away from everything and unless you are dreaming (which a dead person can't) you won't feel anything. This is why the "but you don't suffer!" argument is absurd, anyone who actually uses this argument must have a really shitty life.
So what about hell? You will actually be conscious in your stay there, and not alone either. If we go by any religion's definition of hell, pretty much anyone you know will be there, and all the cool people like Hitler and Genghis Khan will be there as well. Sure, you will burn for eternity but you'll probably get used to it in a relatively short time of your stay. You have more in hell than you would have in oblivion, and more to potentially gain, at the price of being tortured by demons.
Gengis Khan is feasting in Valhalla though. Only cowardly beta cucks go to hell, heroes go to Odin's hall and live forever.
Heaven sounds boring as fuck. What do you do for eternity, pray?
>>2287754
Your being constantly fulfilled by an infinite God. If you thinking eating, sleeping and fucking will entertain someone for eternity your extremely unenlightened.
Is this the greatest military miracle in the history of warfare, or is there a greater one?
LITERALLY NOBODY thought it would work, except maybe Guderian and Hitler. Everyone thought it was a disaster. Hitler had pinned all his hopes on Britain and France accepting peace after he conquered Poland and when they refused, the German high command pretty much accepted in 1940 that it was over for them and they were going to lose since their strategic situation was worsening. This was meant to be one giant all or nothing gamble, like Ludendorff's spring offensive. Everyone was stunned when it actually worked, nobody expected it would lead to the entire conquest of France.
Has anyone else ever pulled off such a huge unexpeced military miracle in history before?

Why are people so fixated on this idiot? Always mentioning him when it comes to "most evil people on Earth" and edgy kids pretending he was cool or shit like that. He's a fucking joke. A laughingstock.
He's often mentioned as one of the greatest serial killers despite not even meeting qualifications (and even if he did kill people to be considered one, he's still not even close to being the worst in any way) and his crew doing all the dirty work (I'm amazed someone so uncharismatic and pathetic even managed to find enough idiots to manipulate).
He's a failure as a cult leader and Jim Jones is far more terrifying than he and his posse would ever be.
