Should Bruce Ismay have gotten on a lifeboat during the sinking of the Titanic? Did he have a duty as chairman/direction of the White Star Line to the passengers behind to not take up a spot on a lifeboat, or was he a passenger himself?
Titanic was an inside job

Well, it was poor showmanship, but I suppose it was beneficial that some official survived as to witness to the event. Can't really blame the bastard - it's not as if he was captain... He was rather instrumental in reducing the number of lifeboats - but again, did not do so beyond the regulatory limits, so a lack of foresight can be placed both on him and the regulatory commissions.
...and it's not as if he lead a pleasant life upon his returned, divorced, destitute, and eviscerated by the press. His last official act was to change the minimum number of lifeboats on all White Star liners well beyond the Board of Trade's minimum standards.
I lost some ancestors on that boat though... One side of my family might be quite a bit larger if he hadn't dun goofed, but I doubt the one spot he took up on his raft would have made the difference.
>>2392018
He wasn't even the villain of the story. He helped people get into lifeboats and went in one himself at the very end. To a boat with a lot of spare room.
In Christian theology, was Jesus biologically Joseph's or is Joseph a cuck?

Did Hitler and Goebbels plan dictate crowd reaction during their speeches?
In one of Hitler's speeches someone in the crowd yells "JUDEN!" and I'm wondering if it was pre-planned

Thanks anon for answering the question. OP, you can delete the thread now, thanks guys
They were completely authentic. What, do you think this is CNN giving Hilary Clinton the questions of a debate? This was real life.
"you" dont exist.
What you identify as "yourself" is only a collection of experiences and formulaic reactions to external stimuli. Identifying as "yourself", a thing separate and distinct from anything else in existence, it's just the byproduct of repeated wrong thinking.
It's like spinning a glowing cord in a dark room. To the eye it looks like a glowing circle. In reality it's just an illusion of movement.
When you dream who is it that witnesses the dream? Your body is asleep, your mind is doing the dreaming, so who's the Watcher? It's the real you, the one that has nothing to do with your thoughts or feelings beliefs desires or fears. It is just awareness. You are not your thoughts, since you can sit back and watch your thoughts. Like the eye that sees all but cannot see itself, such is Consciousness.
Literally the only true thing you said is that the Self is empirically a collection of ever-shifting inter-connected components not an unchanging personality.
Everything else is just mystic hoodoo.

Why does collectivism always lead to genocidal, authoritarian regimes?

Do you guys think of Numidia as a civilization worthy enough to be compared to carthage or babylon?

They were actually Greek.
They were berbers not greek

You have to be civilized to count as a civilization.
Why didn't Hitler listen to Heinz Guderian at Smolensk? Was it because he was named after sauce?
>>2393766
Because his Ego was getting to him. The Third Reich had all the possibilities to conquer the world, but Hitler with his poor decision-making ruined that after 1943. This was also why there were many assassination attempts by fellow nazis against him, just to get someone better to rule them.
I wonder if he knew Hitler's penis size?
>>2393766
Guderian wasn't a smug anime girl to Tsundere Sempai Hitler into paying attention to her.
Why is there no recommended reading for /his/, or is that all covered by /lit/'s wiki page?

EVERY TIME THAT A HUMAN IS BORN.
Why do humans need to drink water to survive? Did this drive for water exist from the earliest humans, or did the dependence evolve over time because it was readily available?
1. Our cells uses water to fuel the chemical reactions that makes your body work. Fun fact, the heat emmited from these reactions supply our enzymes with the necessary heat to process our vitamins. Our dependancy for water has existed ever since we were fish for that very reason. Biology is the tits.
>>2395190
You might be genuinely retarded, but the honest answer is that all living things need a solvent to perform chemical reactions in. Every living thing needs a ton of water to run efficient and cycle out waste products
That's the way God made it.
Physical water is an allegory to the Water of Life that is Christ's precious blood that gives salvation.
You are baptized in water to show that you clean yourself from your previous life. You are born again, a new creature, a child of God.

What happened to the corrupt southern sheriff of the 40s and 50s?
I mean obviously corruption still exists, but I'm talking about "Y'all got 5 minutes to get outta my county, nigger" corrupt. While there are still those types around, but by the 70s they've largely seem to have gone by the wayside.
What happened? Better accountability? Police reform? Just evolving culture?
they learned to keep it lowkey
>>2394728
He had valid reasons though. Also it wasn't him who was out of line, but rather his deputies who fucked around too much with the guy.
Also the sheriff got Rambo something eat (out of his own pocket btw) and gave him a ride to the town line. Rambo never should have turned around, it was completely out of spite.
